I think when you have 2 highly skilled fighters like these ring size is a huge factor.

Loma can cut off the ring so the issue becomes how much does he have to cut off? Rigo can box and move, so how much room does he have to score and get out.

Best bet for Rigo-124 in vegas, best for Loma 126 outside of vegas where 20x20 isn't standard.

Rigo's too small, all their other attributes are fairly close. I'd argue Russell & Salido trump any of Rigo's opponents, Rigo will be going up against a complete fighter who knows what he's doing.

Everything will be important, but age certainly probably isn't a good thing to be conceding for Rigo, especially at the very low weights. The longer this fight doesn't happen, the more the reflexes will slow and the easier task it will be for Loma.

Interesting match up. I think work rate is what would determine the victor in this fight, giving the edge to Lomachenko.

Concerned for Rigondeaux. He's a special fighter, but so is Lomachenko. Guillermo is smaller, older and less active than Vasyl. Good thing I'm also a Lomo fan.

Do you think Rigo's counter punching might slow down Loma's output?

Kind of of like what Floyd has done to so many opponents...

In fact, off the top of my head I can only think of four fighters out of the 46 that didn't succumb to that: Maidana, Castillo, Emanuel Burton, and Jesus Chavez.

In terms of who gets off first and who gets out of position first, I give the edge to Rigo. Rigo will be cuter, but while he wins the battles early he will lose the war. I expect Loma to drive through some difficulties and put more pressure on Rigo than he can handle. Looks rough early and in spots for Loma, but he starts to bully Rigo and knocks him out late. Rigo won't have the heart/durability to take the heat when Loma gets going full speed.

Rigo reach will play a big role.
