[QUOTE=The Big Dunn;15875870]Dude, its July 14th, get over it already. Floyd defeated Manny by a wide margin. Manny just isn't good enough to beat Floyd.[/QUOTE

      1) Yet, Cotto didn't sign with Canelo... and Floyd can fight him at 152 for the MW belts...
      2) Last time I saw Lara placing Floyd at #1 as an option...
      3) If no Bradley, then Algieri -- he fights Haymon's guys...

I agree with sr. Its dangerous for floyd to be thinking like that. Easy opponent or not, your in the ring with a another man and if u dont feel they are a threat u can get hurt in boxing.

... At least fight someone with brains, doe!...
He doesn't have to, just like Duran didn't have to fight Hagler and SRL and Barkley but he wanted to challenge himself and greatness bestowed upon him.

Its only one fight left, so why not go for glory? GGG at 160 and Pac rematch.

Are u ******ed? What does ggg have in common with all time greats like hagler and srl? Floyd should just drain andre ward down. That would do way more for his legacy

              I don't see cotto/Floyd next.
He could defend the 154lb titles against Lara. I don't see that either.
Yes, I think Al is going to keep this one in house.

Manny and GGG should fight and the winner gets Floyd. This way Manny earns a rematch or GGG has a PPV under his belt.

I would love to have seen Floyd take more risks as far as opponent selection during his career. Pretty much after his relative short reign as lightweight champ, he started angling for the biggest money fights. Which didn't always line up with the toughest opponents available.

But in hindsight, I can understand his stance on risk taking. Because his critics are gonna **** on whoever he fights. The same critics that claims he ducks guys. The critics who pick all these guys to beat him. And when Floyd beats them, its always an excuse. Too old, too green, shot, too slow, too small, never that good to begin with, etc. And the latest, he ran and hugged all night. The guy can't win for losing. So what purpose does it make to take on unnecessary risks if you're not gonna get any credit for it? Especially when the bigger risk pays the same as an easier mark.

I understand gimme fights are a part of boxing, but unless you've had a ridiculously long layoff, they're nonsense to me.

Oh my bad, so Floyd was the one who was brutally KO'd by a roided-up Marquez... and Floyd is the one who relies on his speed which is the first thing to go on a fight.... sorry got that confused...
