This could potentially be floyd last ever fight!. If you were real fans of the man. You would want him in an exciting more competitive match up and to bow out in a victory well earned.

Or I think I might be mixing up fans of boxing there. Your perhaps just fans of floyd and floyd only.

... a 'running track' would be needed in case one of them would press forward, doe... Do you see Floyd 'pressing' Lara? It would be funny actually...

I would prefer it not be Berto, but Thurman as the "young guy you are giving a chance". I am happy if I do not have to pony up another $75-100 to watch Floyd fight in September.

I take from this that he is going to continue fighting as well.

This is the big test for PBC. Floyd and Wilder on CBS and NBC. If they do not get high ratings then I think the PBC concept is in serious trouble.

... True: Floyd can't sell **** by fighting Berto on Sho PPV...

... But if it's 'free boxing' for the 'masses', then fight Lara in an exhibition match -- like a show... no weight class, no belts, no scoring cards... just for the show...

I think the point is to have Floyd look "exciting" by getting a KO/TKO winn so the next fight will sell.

This is the direction boxing is going, excitement over quality.
