While guys like say Thurman, Brook, GGG, have seen road blocks trying to make certain fights. Floyd has no road blocks, everyone is willing to fight him, for that big pay day.
Exactly what a ****ing idiot that guy is. He should go back to his bag of lays and continue watching The Big **** Theory.

        LOG OFF.

If you're just taking a jab at Pac for losing, then you are just kicking up sand and not taking on the topic of Mayweather picking Berto.
I've already stated in this thread that this fight is TRASH.

I'm happy Floyd is fighting him though. He deserves a soft touch after all the elite comp he's faced.

Like I said earlier, Floyd has already defeated Cotto and Canelo.

GGG is dying to prove himself against those two.

That should tell you and the rest of the critics something.

But what does he have left to prove? Final fight and fights a soft touch for floyds standards. Meanwhile all these other supposed beasts do it all the time and get hyped to the moon. I'm not saying it's a good fight. But it's not 75$ and his final fight? People bltch about everything. If manny fought algieri on free tv "he fights for da people, da people champ"

            • I think if this does happen one of the sadder aspects is that Khan, Brook, Thurman, etc have wasted so much time fighting soft touches because they were scared to lose their chance at a Floyd ticket.

and I'll play your ****** game. Say those were **** fights which they were, does that make it okay to continue a terrible trend?

You're over here criticizing people and saying they're the reason boxing will play second fiddle to UFC and telling me two wrongs make a right? You're a jackass I'd slap the spy glasses right off your tool face if you said something like this to me in person. No questions asked, just your spy shades laying on the floor and a huge red imprint on your mulberry pale face.

Just because Floyd is #1 does not automatically mean he has to fight the BEST fighter every time out.

What other fighter in the history of the sport has done that?

The last long reigning pound for pound king we've had in the sport was Hopkins, Jones and De La Hoya. None of those guys fought elite or #1 contenders every title defense.

Just stop with the BS already...

Hell, I remember De La Hoya squeezing Corley in between fights with Ike and Tito. Nobody complained. Media gave him a pass. This is standard in boxing.
