I just hope he doesn't go the Lennox Lewis route and starts calling all GGG's fights to keep his name relevant. That's what Lewis has been doing for the last 10 years when it comes to every Klitschko fight. He's considered the "Klitschko expert" over there.

For crying out loud his best win is an old Glenn Johnson!

im a big froch fan so im sad to hear this and its a sad day for boxing,
saying that it was kinda expected
i was a big fan of mayweather and i still like him but i get bored to death with all the 12 round decisions, you know it gets boring,
thats why i like fighters who give it their all,
so its a shame fighters like froch and kessler wont be fighting anymore,
boxing needs fighters like this who try to go for the KO and not just 12 round decisions
all you have to do is look at ufc 189 and you can easily understand that if boxers dont up their game i wouldnt be suprised if mma will take over,
reason i say this is because most the time mma fighters go to finish off fights,
where as how many boxers do you see trying to just get to the end of the finish line by getting a decision...
lol @ the golovtards saying froch ducked,
GGGs best win is martin murray and daniel geale,
even willie ronroe was knocking his head back too loool
seriously get a grip loool
you golovtards just got cobra'd via trolling loool

Bittersweet moment for me.
Very happy to see Carl leave on his own terms, but gutted to see it end at the same time.
One if my all time favourite fighters. A guy who faced everyone available, be it at home or abroad, and never flinched. His resume speaks for itself, one of the absolute best in modern times full of the best names and world titles.
All the best to a true warrior moving forward.

He just seems like a total tool shed and his girlfriend/wife/fiance whatever she is was straight up annoying screaming at his fights. I saw video footage of them where they were drinking tea/coffee out of mugs with their faces on the mugs. And then all that crap over the last month? Who does that? It's just not cool. Enough said. Huge ego. Slow, plodding, methodical. Personally, I thought Dirrell beat him and Ward thoroughly outclassed him. (And he had the nerve to talk trash on Ward afterwards calling him 'boring' after he got beat up)
Look at his wins. The Taylor fight - come on - he was down on points and won via KO with 14 seconds to go. Arthur Abraham has limited skill. Glen Johnson was 42. Yusaf Mack??? Bute was a total joke. Another HBO hype job. George Groves - that fight might have been big in the UK over here in states - Groves wasn't even on the radar with that inflated record vs tomato cans. I'm sorry not that impressed with the resume. Kessler was a good win and quite frankly I thought he won the first fight. Kessler was probably his best win. Great confidence, but limited athletic ability. I'm not a fan - what can I say. Much respect and best wishes in his retirment.
