Loma is doing what is best for his career long term and I completely understand that.

That said, this call out feels like he is trying to shade the fact that he doesn't want to fight Walters right now because Walters, if he makes 126, will surely come in about 10lbs heavier than Loma. He looks somewhat hypocritical after complaining about weight then calling up a smaller fighter.
It is also surprising that an Arum fighter would call Rigo out given his past with Arum and Arum's position Rigo is boring. Would HBO put this fight on?
Given the Salido loss, I can completely understand why Loma doesn't want to suffer another defeat right now, especially one where weight could be a factor.
He will likely fight Simpie, which is still a good fight. Just isn't Walters, the one we all wanted to see who the best 126lber in the world is.
Walters and Loma are still young, I'm confident the fight will happen.

Now as it seems Loma won't get any of the belt holders in 126 for the next fight, Walters is the best option again. And Loma will never say a word if Axeman will be 126 on the scales and rehydrates as much as he can. But there's a big chance Walters will intentionally not make weight which will give him even more pounds in rehydration day. If Walters can't make 126 anymore or feels it will make him exhausted he just should move up.
By the way, Rigo is much more dangerous opponent than Walters for Loma, although he will beat both.

I don't expect Loma to stay at 126 forever, that's why I don't understand these Loma haters that are so confident that the fight will never happen (not saying you're a hater btw.). We don't even know what Walters is planning on doing with his career, he said after the fight he'll decide in two weeks but hasn't said anything. We don't know if he's going to attempt to stay at 126 or if he knows he probably can't make it anymore. We should just be patient, Loma vs Walters will happen, but probably at 130 now unless Walters can somehow get back down. Loma will probably be forced to move up pretty fast anyway, he can't fight most of the guys at 126. Haymon guys won't be available for him, Selby doesn't want any, so he's left with Vetyeka and a few others. That's why I think Loma's manager called out Rigo.

Look dude, you want to be patient solely because Loma is at fault and comes off looking scared. Then calling out Rigo he looks hypocritical.
I know you want to put the best spin on this as possible, but its hard for me not to see this as deflecting. I mean, if you wont fight Walters because he is bigger, why would you expect rigo to fight you when he would be smaller?
Loma has been aggressive in picking tough opponents and I will always give him credit for that. But he is just like every other major boxer. he is going to make a long term decisions to protect his earning potential. he can't risk a loss to Walters right now.

If rigo feels he can take him 4lbs more than let get it on. If not, then go on! But lets not feel that the weight is an issue and still ask for a re-hydration stipulation.
