ALL these catchweights are garbage, and shame on Manny, Floyd, and Cotto for making it so common that now its even creeping into divisions that are only 4 pounds apart to begin with.
If you want to move up and challenge for someones title, then the opponent should be able to weigh in at the weight limit of that division. If thats too big for you, then you have no business there in the first place.

**** like that is pukeworthy. Gennady Golovkin and Guillermo Rigondeaux are b*tch ass cowards. What happened to the real men that fought in this sport?

i access all cw's the same
1. are the fighters in the same division? if yes i can only accept a cw that is higher than that divisions weight..example peterson garcia at 143 did not bother me..
2. are they one weight class apart? if yes i access has the smaller guy fought anyone else at the division that he does not want to travel too..next icheck both guys rehydration numbers...if both guys rehydrate close no cw...if the rehydration numbers are lopsided i'm fine with cw and rehdyration clause bc i dont support not fighting at your original class..which means i do not support something about 99% of boxers...
my conclusion on this and i will compare it to ward ggg...lomo is really a 135 guy in the ring..rigo is really a 122 guy in the ring..rigo has never left 122 even when he fought a126 contender..they fough at 122...if he moves up to 126 he likely wont even reach 126 on the scale and lomo with then have a 10 lbs or more advan then...so i'm fine with cw and rehydration clause in this case
now ward and ggg no cw..ggg has challenged 168 guys at 168 and he weighed 175 lbs at one of his lates 30 day weigh in..he's even offered to fight bigger 168lbers than ward...
i dont access money or popularity when it comes to these things...also i access age..i dont see many successful career oriented boxers moving up in weight classes at 35..so i dont thnk rigo should go anywhere without something in his favor..i actually thinkg he should do like the rest of the boxers and go to weight where he can rehydrate 10lbs...he should go to 115 and be a 2 time champ..knock off gonzales..and then go to 118 to make it 3 time champ then he is a sure fire hof'er

I guess if Loma doesnt want to drop down to 122 and challenge Rigo, lets just forget about it. Smh this is getn ridiculous, these guys are NOT in the same weight class, meaning theyre not the same size...so for a fight t..o be made between 2 guys who arent the same weight, some concessions may have to be made. would we want Rigo to go up a weight class or Loma to drop down a weight class? Either would favor only one fighter, imagine the excuses. @124 BOTH fighters will be giving up 2lbs ...im not supporting the rehydration stip though..if Rigo does end up agreeing to 126, he should just do it legit, no stips.
For me, this fight would be the best matchup of the year. Pure skill and talent vs pure skill and talent. Whens the last time we saw this kind of fight, with both fighters having so much substance?
