Why does ward fans say GGG has to come up?

But Kovalev has to come down if he wants Ward?

    Why the double standards?

I think either fight should be at a catchweight

GGG vs Ward should be 164 and Ward vs Kovalev should be at 172

and neither fight should be in oakland, neutral venue with neutral judges

The 168 division Andre "Son of Goat" Ward hides in DIDN'T EXIST for most of boxing history!!!

Bernard Hopkins "168 is just a place where light heavyweights who don't want to fight the best light heavyweights hide"

I have yet to see anyone saying Kov should move down for a fight with Ward. Rather everyone saying Ward should move up if the fight is to happen. And no, neither fight should be at a catchweight.

I've never seen a single person asking Kovalev to move down. Not one. Team GGG on the other hand have claimed a willingness to fight anyone between 154 and 168.

            That's what I'm wondering.

Gennady has to move up, Ward doesn't even though he just fought at LHW, didn't Ward medal at 175?

due to various agendas a small percentage of fans don't like GGG and want to see him lose. The only person they envisage beating GGG is ward at 168. Hence that's the only fight they want to see. If you say that ward (who has cleared out his division whereas GGG hasn't cleared out his) should move up to fight Kovalev they will just redirect or ignore.

this is the way of the biased, agenda based fan and will never change. 9 times out of ten if you find somebody insulting GGG they are hardcore fans of either mayweather, cotto or frock ... all guys who would likely lose to GGG if they fought and so their fans really. really want them to avoid him. How does that happen? Well they put their faith in ward they only guy they feel can beat him and thus save their fighter from calls to fight him...

Either way ward v GGG would be a good fight but cotto, canelo, froch or obviously mayweather would all be much bigger fights for Golovkin.

kovalev cant drop he's already stringy at 175

ward just fought at 172 hes definitely not dropping below 168

golovkin weighs 16X weeks before he fights meaning hes barely big enough for middleweight at age 33

dunno why this stuff is a topic, hey maybe when we invent shrink rays GGG can fight wilder

Find a quote of a Ward fan saying this on here. Good luck.

How about ask yourself why GGG's own team are throwing a 164 catchweight out there, when they seemed to have no issue of fighting JCC Jr. or Froch at '68, in regards to Ward.

No haven't seen that. Might be 1 or 2 but the vast majority agree Ward needs to move up after he beats Golovkin at 168. Golovkin-Ward needs to happen before Ward-Kovalev obviously.
