I think we're all going to have to get real about this situation;
1) Ward, Kovalev, Golovkin will more than likely continue to dominate their respective divisions for the forseeable future.
2) To move up or down a division is to give away an advantage and the guy they are targeting in moving up or down is very dangerous.
3) Forums, social media and boxing "journalism" have all become so toxic and adgenda driven that 1 loss (or even a less dominant than expected performance), can really put a dent in a guy's career.
Wouldn't surprise me if these (and other potential classics) get put off til' they are much less relevant (Floyd/Pac) or just never happen.
Why take the risk?
