Ward vs ggg should be at 168. Especially when ggg had a contract too fight chavez jr at 168 last year. And said he would fight Froch at 168 this year. Why a catch weight too fight the best super middleweight in the world tho. But no catchweight for the inferior fighters at 168.

Ward vs Kovalev should be at 175. Their is no reason for the fight too be at a catch weight. Kovalev has 3 titles. That's the glory you get if you beat Kovalev at 175.

I think the fact GGG has less stripes on his arm is the #1 thing. Ward got throw into the fire during the Super Six tournament vs the elite guys in his division. GGG has yet to fight most of the tip top guys in his division.

The other thing would be Ward has viable choices to decide between. GGG doesn't really have choices. GGG is waiting for other people to say yes, Ward is deciding what he wants to do & is assured that the other guy will say yes to what he decides. There is more power in being the guy deciding what option he wants to take vs being the guy waiting for others to decide what they wanna do.

So ggg has shown he is willing too fight at 168.

And they want Froch right now at 168.

But when it comes too ward. It gotta be 164.

I've never heard anyone say this. If there is, it's not in a grand enough scale to warrant a thread. I can buy maybe a couple at most have said it , but if that's that case, call out those two posters when they say it. due to various agendas a small percentage of fans don't like GGG and want to see him lose. The only person they envisage beating GGG is ward at 168. Hence that's the only fight they want to see. If you say that ward (who has cleared out his division whereas GGG hasn't cleared out his) should move up to fight Kovalev they will just redirect or ignore.

this is the way of the biased, agenda based fan and will never change. 9 times out of ten if you find somebody insulting GGG they are hardcore fans of either mayweather, cotto or frock ... all guys who would likely lose to GGG if they fought and so their fans really. really want them to avoid him. Either way ward v GGG would be a good fight but cotto, canelo, froch or obviously mayweather would all be much bigger fights for Golovkin.

All 3 fights were criticized due too the catchweight.

First off, I like GGG. That's exactly why I criticize him for wanting too fight chavez,froch,and degale at 168. But not ward.

you say it's negotiations, but he didn't bring up 164 when negotiating with anybody else.
