Ward vs ggg should be at 168. Especially when ggg had a contract too fight chavez jr at 168 last year. And said he would fight Froch at 168 this year. Why a catch weight too fight the best super middleweight in the world tho. But no catchweight for the inferior fighters at 168.

Ward vs Kovalev should be at 175. Their is no reason for the fight too be at a catch weight. Kovalev has 3 titles. That's the glory you get if you beat Kovalev at 175.

    GGG vs Ward at 168
    Kovalev vs Ward at 175

    No catchweight necessary
what about dawson -ward cotto and the last guy he fought what about broner porter come on wake up

I think the fact GGG has less stripes on his arm is the #1 thing. Ward got throw into the fire during the Super Six tournament vs the elite guys in his division. GGG has yet to fight most of the tip top guys in his division.

The other thing would be Ward has viable choices to decide between. GGG doesn't really have choices. GGG is waiting for other people to say yes, Ward is deciding what he wants to do & is assured that the other guy will say yes to what he decides. There is more power in being the guy deciding what option he wants to take vs being the guy waiting for others to decide what they wanna do.

So ggg has shown he is willing too fight at 168.

And they want Froch right now at 168.

But when it comes too ward. It gotta be 164.

This shows they don't wanna fight ward. They have no problem going too 168 just as long as it's not against andre.
What does that have to do with what I said?
It's called strategy, obviously they know Ward would be the hardest test so they'll take advantage of anything they can; like Ward has for years. Plus, you GGG haters are so butthurt as if this fight is official and taking place at 164. As far as I know nothing is signed. It was probably mind games coming from Loeffler. Also, are we supposed to forget that Ward said he'll be a Heavyweight by the age of 32, just because what exactly? You guys hold GGG to what his team said, so why not Andre Ward?

For Ward it has to be the right everything. Oh it has to be at the right time, right opponent, right venue, right referee. "Oh this guys hasn't done anything to even be at my presence". This guy actually thought he was treated unfairly in the Super Six, when he was the only one that didn't have to travel to a foreign country. All of his fights, except one, took place in California (his home state). He thinks he's the A-side against everyone and they should do what he demands. He's delusional.

I've never heard anyone say this. If there is, it's not in a grand enough scale to warrant a thread. I can buy maybe a couple at most have said it , but if that's that case, call out those two posters when they say it. Don't make a thread generalizing the views of the entire board based on the views of a few ******ed people.

This is why these ******ed double standard threads need to be against the rules. They're so annoying. Larry makes a whole bunch of these, and whenever I ask him to show me proof, he can't follow up

If you say that ward (who has cleared out his division whereas GGG hasn't cleared out his) should move up to fight Kovalev they will just redirect or ignore.

this is the way of the biased, agenda based fan and will never change. 9 times out of ten if you find somebody insulting GGG they are hardcore fans of either mayweather, cotto or frock ... all guys who would likely lose to GGG if they fought and so their fans really. really want them to avoid him. How does that happen? Well they put their faith in ward they only guy they feel can beat him and thus save their fighter from calls to fight him...

Either way ward v GGG would be a good fight but cotto, canelo, froch or obviously mayweather would all be much bigger fights for Golovkin.

"He said that years ago doe", well GGG's team also said that years ago.
What does that have to do with anything? I do want Ward to move up to 175lbs and fight Kovalev.

Why don't you want GGG to move up again? Pretty sure you'd be fine with the Froch fight at 168 too.

All 3 fights were criticized due too the catchweight.

This adds too my point. The fighter that dropped weight loss 2 out of 3 of those fights.

Fighters dropping weight, usually always lose

First off, I like GGG. That's exactly why I criticize him for wanting too fight chavez, froch, and degale at 168. But not ward.

you say it's negotiations, but he didn't bring up 164 when negotiating with anybody else.

                    Call a spade a spade.

Ward never signed too fight a heavyweight.
Golovkin has signed too fight a super middleweight.

You want ward too move up 3 weight classes, but make an excuse for GGG too move up 1 weight class.

You are holding ward too what he said.
I am holding GGG too what he did. GGG signed too fight at 168 just last year.

why would you rather see GGG vs SOG at 164 instead of 168?

They don't wanna fight ward. You know that and so does everybody else

                      Why the double standards?

I think either fight should be at a catchweight

GGG vs Ward should be 164 and Ward vs Kovalev should be at 172

and neither fight should be in oakland, neutral venue with neutral judges
                      Nice try, this one...

They should fight at 168 and 175 respectively...

But I don't see Ward fighting either Golovkin or Kovalev...
