Keep walking on rafters and stay out of a boxing ring because you obviously have no clue If you think you can prepare yourself and train for a liver shot.I am sick of hearing that sheet. this is what these guys train for and their job. could Thurman walk on rafters 40 ft in the air wind blowing 20 below zero? then pull up 24' frozen 2x10's? I could because that is my job. if fighting was my job I would train to take the pain and give it out.Comment

Absolutely. Can't believe people are actually criticizing him for getting hit in a boxing match.Comment

Thurman deserves credit for not even giving up a knock down after that shot.
That was the perfect body shot, anyone that's watched boxing for more than a few years has seen that same punch end fights plenty of times. Thurman is very durable.
And Collazo can punch just fine, he isn't a light puncher to the degree of Tim Bradley, Malignaggi or somebody who fully relies on just their technique.
It's a shame Collazo decided he was done without getting to the late rounds. He clearly could have continued if he had the will. I think Thurman was definitely a rising tide at that point though, Collazo may have felt him coming on and could only focus on the paycheck he'd be getting regardless.
I could see Collazo getting 1 or 2 more gate keeper fights maybe, but his will to win is questionable now.Comment
