Comments Thread For: Thurman Thought About Taking a Knee in Fifth Round

Tampa, Florida - Keith Thurman improved his record to 26-0 with 22 KO’s when he defeated Luis Collazo by 8th round TKO last night in the USF Sun Dome. But the victor wasn’t without a scare. In the 5th round, Collazo landed a big left hand to the body that had hurt Thurman and had him reeling to end the 5th round. Thurman says he got hit with a perfect shot.

Do you know why Thurman didn't. Because he has balls, and he is not a Rican like Sheguel Cotto.

When you don't see that liver shot coming, it is one of the most painful things do endure. I don't think people realize how remaining on your feet after taking one of those is some bad ass shi*.

That's how I know 95% of people on here are either casuals or have never been in the ring. I'm amazed by some of the comments I've read in the last few hours.

Collazo did not seize the moment he immediately hurt Thurman. He waited a second or two for Thurman to recover. Bad move on his part. I think he was suprised he hurt him.
