Collazo is a coward. A quitter who doesn't deserve another fight.

Thurman needs to stop picking on bums and accept the Spence challenge.

Getting severely tired of watching keyboard warriors call people cowards, just because the opposing fighter happens to be a guy working for a person they don't like. 100% of the people talking crap about Collazo wouldn't be fit to carry his jockstrap in a boxing ring. The guy is a proven warrior. If you don't like the decision he made, leave it at that, but don't question the man's mettle. He's shown it a million times.

The only thing he stood to gain from continuing the fight was taking punches that would have shortened his career, and the admiration of literal nobodies who would say "Collazo was a real warrior unlike Floyd hurr durr," or some other similar BS. When the guy has brain damage and can no longer feed his family, what you think of him won't pay his bills. He did what he thought was best for him and his career, and I'm not the slightest bit mad at him.

Boxing fans are such a fickle bunch. Collazo is no coward. He was beaten. He knew it. No point in going out and taking punishment if u don't see your chance of victory. I suggest u guys watch more of his fights before saying bull****.

U applaud them, but do u give them their brains back? to u undo the damage that's been done to their bodies? do u pay their bills? will u be there for him when u can't talk or walk cuz of the punishment he took in the ring?

I think it's the most selfish thing in the world to actually demand that fighters continue to get their brains scrambled needlessly. I think it's sickening to call them cowards if they show that they have to wherewithal to make a sound career decision and not continue to take punishment. Some boxers have been getting hit in the head longer than most of these clowns that call them cowards/bums have been alive. The idiocy turns my stomach sometimes.

I appreciate and respect what fighters do in the ring, and while it's nice to have blood and guts fighters, you should want the best for them before and after their careers are over. A man knowing when to quit isn't a sign of weakness, as these ******s would try to have you believe. We don't need our fighters ending up like Ali, trying to appease people who don't even pay for their fights.

Collazo quit just before closing time. Poor guy hadn't had a drink in at least four days.

When I read the posts from so called boxing fans its easy to see why Floyd is all about the money. None of you arm chair keyboard warriors will donate to those guys once they retire but yet here you are talking nonsense about a man who is trying to prolong his career. I mean one poster said he's never been in the ring but because he's seen other fighters go through worse then he feels that allows him to levy harsh judgement on Collazo. Boxing fans are the worst, most of you have never paid a single penny to watch a fight.

Im really surprised how many people here think he was right to quit.

I thought he gave it his all and admired the way he fought. But when you get cut, thats what cutmen are for. His cut man stopped the bleeding in the corner. Yet he was saying he couldnt see?? That doesnt make sense.

In this interview, he said he PROBABLY would of got caught with some needless shots. But does that mean every fighter who gets a bad cut should quit? They stopped the bleeding. There was a good chance he would of got hit and the bleeding started again, but he also could of hurt Thurman, maybe stopped him.
I didnt see him taking much punishment. So i find it strange he was eager to quit.
