Collazo caught Thurman with a great shot. Even Floyd and Pac have been drilled and hurt by a great shot. The fact that he weathered the storm and got angry afterwards showed me volumes. So let's not get carried away by one shot that didn't even put him down. He has beaten two top ten welters, more than anyone currently active in the division not named Floyd or Bradley.

he didnt do that good but collazo is a weird fighter sometimes he does great (and looks like he will trouble a lot of fighters ) in fights and sometimes he gets beat ( and looks like its the end of his career ) but collazo was coming on really strong in the later rounds.

There's no truth in the conspiracy theory.

Collazo was behind on Scorecards, he probably had 2 rounds tops. He was getting beat down already. Thurman was landing quite a few powerful shots, not as many as usual but still quite a few. Collazo got a cut over his eye and could barely see.

It makes no sense for him to go out there and just take a beating, because that's what was going to happen.

Fans of Thurman claim that Spence is not worthy of a fight with Thurman or that Thurman would gain nothing in fighting Spence. However, what did Thurman gain in fighting Collazo? What made Collazo worthy of a fight with Thurman, but not Spence. What does Mayweather gain in fighting Thurman, a guy who has only fought one b-level opponent in his entire career? What makes Thurman worthy of a fight with Mayweather.

Spence is not a top welterweight, but I am sure that he is better than the C or D-level opponent that Thurman will fight in his next fight.

Xylocaine is not illegal and does nothing to enhance a fighter's performance. That is on record! As far as the BS about blood transfusions, that is something that you will likely read on a conspiracy theory website or one of those websites or tweets where the writer claims to get the info from a reliable source (which 10 times out of 10 means that he pulled the theory from his *******).

Thurman did not look good at all in this fight

Collazo is a seasoned lefty veteran, while Thurman is a relatively new talent. A lesson was learned tonight, but he still won. Collazo quit not only due to the cut, but also because he was starting to take a beating.

People call Thurman an untested hype job, but when he does get tested yet still wins, he gets criticized further.

collazo's mom had just had a stroke before the fight. this was the first time she had seen him fight ever and she was crying seeing him getting beat up in that last round. he probably quit because he didn't want her stressing out. he's never quit before or been down. its pretty obvious why he quit.

These clowns that say that are just Thurman haters. If he doesn't have a spectacular performance each and every time these haters are quick to bad mouth him but no fighter in history no matter how good he was had a great fight every time he put a pair of gloves on.
