I can't believe I'm saying this; Khan was right, Thurman need some more bouts under his belt. He was gassed, and rocked early in this fight by Collazo. Before the TKO, he looked just as bad as Khan looked with Algeiri. At one point in the fight, I thought Thurman was for sure going down. Good fight.

I think Thurman is a decent fighter. However, he hasn't proven that there is anything special about him. He hasn't proven that he is any better than Khan, Porter, Maidana, Kell Brook, Andre Berto or even Errol Spence.
His fans claim that everyone is afraid to fight him. Anyone with any sense knows that is complete bulls...t! Thurman needs to step up his competition to prove that he is as good as his hype because he hasn't done it yet.

So everybody should be Lining to fight Thurman Right? No Excuses since he struggled because he got caught with a great body Shot
The major difference is, these other fighters don't have a Chin like Collazo. Collazo haven't been stopped since 2002.
But yeah if this means people will fight Thurman now because he "Struggled vs Collazo" then line them up.
Can he beat Mayweather? No! But who the *** can? But I think Thurman beats any other Welterweight not named Mayweather and Pacquiao (who I give a slight edge because of experience)Last edited by sicko; 07-11-2015, 11:14 PM.

I don't see why people think Thurman is just going to knock out Khan easily if they fight. I would definitely favor Khan in that matchup.

The ending kinda robbed Thurman of his chance to make a proper comeback after being hurt (I know that he was ahead on the cards regardless)
that was a hell of a shot right on the liver, he stayed up and made the bell. Then he came out and had took some time to recover in the subsequent round. He picked it up at the start of the last round so that was good to see - but the ending just halted all that. I thought it might turn into something more redeeming for Thurman. Can't blame him he was doing the right thing at the time of the stoppage I think.
Floyd's lateral movement will bother him big time - he will see the wind-up. The good thing for thurman in that fight I think would of course be the equalizer in power, but also that he can throw while moving backward. Possible he could get Floyd to run into something but too much guile from Floyd I'd imagine. would rather see KhanLast edited by LA_2_Vegas; 07-11-2015, 11:18 PM.

Collazo got Thurman's number.... and even though Thurman has been running like crazy the past several fights, I have never seen him run that much. Maidana should go ahead and put him out of his misery. If Marcos would've been the one landing that liver bomb, Thurman would still be rolling round on the canvas crying in agony. Now everyone will be punishing the living daylights outta that soft body. Thank Collazo next time you see him. Now you betters know how to bet.
