Cotto wasn't Trout's worst nightmare. In fact Trout came to Cotto country and took his title away. Then 5 months later Canelo wins a fairly wide ud over Trout and took his title away. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU. It was no problem for Cotto. He just took a 10 month vacation and got some more tattoos.
It takes 1 punch to end ur triangle theory, only casuals think they work.
The day ppl learn styles makes fights maybe we can have better arguments.
If you just wanna hate, at least be the typical mexican and say **** like "kneeguel" stuff, its much better and doesnt make u look like a casual.

It's not your fault. Lead-poisoning is a real concern in your villa.

You mentioned "drained Geale" I show you an EMACIATED Cotto going into the Paulie fight... By your logic, Cotto should have lost to Paulie and not beat him and break his jaw.

        See? it's easy!

You stick up for Cotto and I stick up for Canelo. Can't you get in an argument over fighters without handing out red Ks????? I never give red Ks unless someone gives one to me first. Hatersgonahate.? I would say you are hating on Canelo big time, you hypocrite. What did Canelo ever do to you except agree to kick your baby boy Cotto's ass. So because Canelo is fighting Cotto he's the bad guy now. You're going to like Canelo even less after he knocks Cotto out. I stick with Canelo win or lose.

The negotiations for the planned showdown between WBC Middleweight Champion Puerto Rican Miguel Angel Cotto and Mexican Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez continued this week with great progress and facing an official announcement at any time in the month of July.

Cotto and Canelo, who have been before in this negotiating position, are on track to face on November 21 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

But both headquarters and the proposed date are still analyzed and may undergo some changes.

"Everything is still very good and positive," said Gabriel Peñagarícano lawyer, legal adviser Cotto and who is responsible for negotiating with Oscar de la Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions.

"We are at 90 percent. We're still not clear whether it will be on that date (November 21) but we'll let it know quite possibly in July. The important thing is that everything has gone well and I understand will soon finalize an agreement. You understand that yes, the fight will be in November", he reiterated.

Cotto, who won the 160-pound World Boxing Council (WBC), fought last June 6 in New York, against Australian Daniel Geale. Whom he dispatched in the fast lane in the fourth assault in a fight held at the Barclays Center Brooklyn, New York.

While Canelo also did the same in May by knocking out James Kirkland in the third round in Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

"This is a big fight in which there are many details and aspects to deal with," he added Peñagarícano.

Two fighters fight the same guy months apart. one guy loses big and the other guy wins big. The fighter who won big is looking better than the fighter who lost big. That's just common sense. Duh. I would be proud to be Mexican or Puerto Rican but I am neither. I don't hate Cotto but I hate some of the bull**** he pulls and I stick up for Canelo when Cotto fans attack him. I never bring up Cotto taking a knee because I don't think he did anything wrong then. Other great fighters have taken a knee to get a rest or keep from getting KOed. I don't think Cotto ever quit. Styles make fights? How about this is going to be a slugout and that heavily favors Canelo. Canelo hits harder and takes a punch much better. Canelo has never been knocked down. Cotto has been knocked down often and KOed twice. Cotto has one KO punch and that is the left hook. He doesn't knock guys out with any other punch. Canelo knocks guys out with left or right hooks or uppercuts and a lightning straight right. Say goodnight, Cotto. Canelo has faster, harder more accurate punches and that will win it for him. If Cotto wins I'll come on here and say I was wrong and give Cotto credit for another great win.

By the way I was a boxer in the army and have been a boxing lover since Floyd Patterson was champion. I say what I believe and could care less if I look like a casual.

Cotto is going to catch a beating and I'm far from being a Canelo fan. Cotto is too stationary at times and Canelo will use this to his advantage to land big power shots. And I just think Canelo will be too big in that ring compared to Cotto. Cotto doesn't have the speed to really nullify the size disadvantage. He gets stopped in less than 10.
