You both kind of dismissed DeGale/Quillin. So I was just wondering if you felt the same about GGG/DeGale.

    Appreciate the response.
Yeah, I don't get why people are saying those fights are off the cards.
The only fight that you could speculate being off the cards would be Ward but that can still get made as there's nothing official why it can't, just gossip.

My scoffing was aimed at the fight being made right away without any build up. I actually like the sound of DeGale Quillin. I love any US UK rivalry at any level.

Fighters get a bigger cut of the purse, more exposure and apparently he actually genuinely cares about his guys. This is coming from the fighters by the way not my opinion.

So now Ward really has nothing left for him at 168. Let's see how many cans haymon gives degale before finally matching him up with jack or the other dirrel

So that means they won't be sued or have their careers on hold, Haymon just won't work with them. What other promoter/manager/adviser would let a fighter out of contract at no cost to the fighter?

It is allegedly another Promoter who is close to doing like Yvon Michel recently did and have all of his fighters add Haymon as an Advisor so that all of their fighters can fight on PBC and this Promoter has a pretty good Roster

So I don't know WTF Haymon plan is but he will have a Roster soon that will big enough to have boxing on every Saturday if he so chooses

Lol. Ever learn how monopolies work? While Haymon's not quite a monopoly yet, he's vastly reduced options for fighters should they want to leave. TR, ME, GB only have so many tv options these days. Oh yeah, his contract are for 9 years, so if you want better terms tough.

They seem to be essentially the same thing.

you never responded to the other post-what is a true champion?
I just do not believe that Quillin deserves another title fight until he has defeated at least two top 10 contenders in the division he is fighting in, within one year.

A 'true champion' in my eyes is a champion who will fight any and all top contenders in his division and will avoid none. He accepts the responsibilities of being a champion and does not avoid his mandatory duties. He does his best to prove that HE is the one and only champion in his division by challenging and not ducking the other champions in his division.
