Whatever. Now we can watch the highly anticipated James DeGale vs Paul Smith rematch, where both guys earn career high pay days because the fighters deserve to get paid. Put Quillin vs Ishe Smith on the undercard at 168.

GGG just needs to sign with Haymon. Not that hard

I believe in free TV but I also feel that this can only happen with high ratings. High ratings = sponsorship for fighters which could be even more than paydays.

I'd eat my hat if Quillin faced DeGale in his SMW debut.

No they are not dude please stop over exaggerating just to blame Haymon for something. They had a dispute in another business. Ward is looking to fight GGG anyway.

If GGG wants to fight DeGale use your "political currency" to try and make it happen. If HBO doesn't let GGG fight DeGale, maybe GGG should consider leaving HBO. If HBO blocks a fight, blame HBO.

            What about the other bouts?

I hope it was obvious to all that I was being sarcastic. If DeGale was to face Quillin I would stop watching boxing altogether and take up something more interesting, like needlepoint or something.

I noticed neither of you responded to Freedom's post.

Do you feel the same way about GGG/DeGale as you do DeGale/Quillin?

I think GGG would dispose of Quillin inside of three rounds and DeGale inside of six. Does that answer your concerns?

I do not think Golovkin should leave HBO as HBO is the true 'premier' outlet for boxing and where true champions fight and where boxing superstars are created.

Will have to wait and see what the plan is for this move. I thought Hearn was doing a good job promoting him and building him up. However the purse bid thing puts Hearn in a tough situation, it is hard to go from $1.55 Million back to Lower Pay to fight weaker opponents.
