    London’s James DeGale took to Twitter today to announce that he has joined forces with high-powered boxing adviser Al Haymon.

    The announcement comes six weeks after DeGale claimed the IBF Super middleweight title, outpointing Andre Dirrell in late May. The bout took place on NBC in the United States as part of Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions series. [Click Here To Read More]

          Hearn can still get the promotion rights for Degale. Even if Degale is with his advisor Al Haymon.

          Top Rank can promote fights on PBC... oh no wait...

            Hearn's still the promoter, but now Haymon has say on the opponents. If Haymon insists on crap opponents, it's on Eddie to try and sell that to the public. And when it comes time to make the Groves fight, Haymon suddenly sucks away 15-20% of the profits.

              eddie hearn would do himself a favor getting promo licenses in the state..but then again he could put on degale and frampton cards in the UK with great success..but is the pbc team going to travel?? or is haymon stepping outside of pbc himself??

                Al Haymon is like this mystical figure and commands a cult following of fighters. It's really remarkable how so many fighters are attracted to this man. What does he do that so ****ing great?
