Is that by force or choice though. Arum has come out said he doesn't want to work with Haymon. Nothing has ever come from Haymon's side in a statement or rumor saying he will not work with Arum.

Hearn's still the promoter, but now Haymon has say on the opponents. If Haymon insists on crap opponents, it's on Eddie to try and sell that to the public. And when it comes time to make the Groves fight, Haymon suddenly sucks away 15-20% of the profits.

Al Haymon is like this mystical figure and commands a cult following of fighters. It's really remarkable how so many fighters are attracted to this man. What does he do that so ****ing great?

He doesnt screw over his fighters he takes care of them. Unlike Arum who sometimes publicly disrespects his fighters. I recall one time where he said some things about Donaire WIFE in public.

Good match ups is a bit of an overstatement. He's already beat one Dirrell and the other Dirrell is pants and Jack really isn't anything special either.

Besides,those could have been made anyway.

Well the Andre Dirrell rematch is a good fight. Jack and Anthony Dirrell are decent SMW's. I just meant that the fights are easier to make with Haymon involved on both sides. He was asking what benefits boxing fans get from this.

Ward vs Degale is the only downside
