Kelly didn't beat anybody good at 168..he was an awesome MIddleweight however..his KO rate at that weight is similar to Golovkin's. People who think he was a bum should rewatch the Taylor fight..now THAT was a championship fight!

Should have been dedicated to boxing and developed some skill...flat-footed, plodding pos who fought a lazy, complacent Jermain Taylor....

If Pavlik rededicated himself to the sport, got a good trainer he really meshed with and kept positive people around him, maybe he could make a meaningful comeback.

I remember talk of Pavlik vs. Calzaghe lol...Calzaghe would have literally slapped his head of his shoulders lol... Pavlik was lucky he took a beating by those smaller 160 lb guys rather than the bigger boys at 68'

PavliK went toe to toe with Edison Miranda, a fighter who broke Arthur Abrahams Jaw and was robbed of a victory...and made him Quit.

The first Taylor v. Pavlik is one of my YouTube "go to" fights. Among other things, Pavlik showed heart getting up off the canvas, and the final sequence -- the leverage Pavlik got on his final punches -- was a thing of lethal beauty.

I miss the Pavlik beast years, when he was still a hungry killer.
