Garcia is young, still has legs, and not nearly as ****** as Bronner....If he thinks that malinaggi cannot keep him away there is no reason for him not to simply do a Porter and just attack at will. Whats Paulie gonna do if Danny takes a round off? power puff him? Yes Paulie can box but he doesn't have the legs to stick and move...a few years ago this fight would have been different, Danny with no sense of angles and Paulie with good legs....As it stands Danny hits him at will.
I will take no solace in watching the twat that Paulie has become take it Hatton style. Hes still a great commentator when he isn't the narcasistic, jackazz that he has become. He needs this azz whippin... Hope Danny makes his lip so fat he can't sprout off for a month.

That's all he's ever lived by is decisions. Except for his last fight when he was knocked the **** out. Him and Runweather live and die by decisions. They don't know what KO means. Course Paulie the weak man Malignaggi does. Only cause it happened to him

Originally posted by paulf View PostYou know, years ago, I was one of the very very few Malignaggi fans on this site. And over the years it's been incredible watching him change peoples minds about him, fight-by-fight, until he actually grew a nice little fanbase and some respect on this site.
And it's been especially interesting watch him burn that respect and goodwill to the ground the past couple years and make everyone hate him all over again.
I still like Paulie as a fighter, but ****kkkkking hell he is insufferable as a person.
-Constantly smearing Pacquiao's name because Pacquiao beat the **** out of (at the time) the only two guys that had beat the **** out of Paulie. Boxers often do this, but Paulie was so pathetic and transparent about it.
-His in-ring rant after he was robbed in the Diaz fight was the definition of hypocrisy; a year earlier Herman Ngoudjo clearly beat Paulie for the title, but was robbed and Paulie got the hometown decision. Ngoudjo called Paulie out for the rematch, but it fell on deaf ears.
-His commentary was initially very good, but GOD DAMN DID HIS BIAS TAKE OVER QUICK. He talks up anyone that defeated him like they're a god (in order to make himself look better, of course)
-Other **** I cant remember.
I'll be rooting for him against Garcia because he's such an underdog, but damn.
I remember at one point in Broner-Maidana, Malignaggi had the score even when Broner was eating punches left and right.. Took Malignaggi a while to accept that he was witnessing this guy lose. Of course he also picked Broner to beat Porter and accused Porter of being on PEDs but I digress..Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 07-08-2015, 10:02 PM.

Paulie is completely & utterly irrelevant as a boxer; in fact, his mouth is infinitely more relevant than his fight game at this juncture (not that his fight game was ever really relevant to begin with).
Paulie was set to fight the 116th rated welter on a motherf**king Spike TV undercard before he pulled out with injury. Think about that ****. Only reason his irrelevant corpse was plucked out of obscurity after that was so Danny could fight a guy who literally won't leave a scratch on him, and in the meantime he can add a semblance of a name to the resume.
As for DG, yeah, I know he has a problem with movers, but damn that ****, he better demolish that dude. Seriously. Danny's stock is already a rapidly sinking ship -- struggling (or God forbid losing...shudder) to the corpse of a guy who even in his prime was no more than a C fighter on his best day -- that would be a disaster of epic & biblical proportions for Garcia.
Danny should (and better) dominate this fight.

I really don't understand the negativity and hatred on this site. Malignaggi has a big mouth, that is entertaining. He has to fight completely on brains, skills, and guts (and he has all of these). I like watching a boxer who uses technical skill to negate and defeat bigger punchers.
The hatred that he (and other great fighters) get on here is crazy.
I love the art of boxing. I can't be the only one who isn't friggin' obsessed with seeing brutal, life-changing knockouts.
