Comments Thread For: Haymon: Arbitrator Should Decide Golden Boy Lawsuit

Actually, Haymon wants an arbitrator to take a look because he believes the bulk of the Golden Boy lawsuit claims were already settled when they reached their January agreement, which came under arbitration. If the arbitrator rules that is the case, the bulk of GBP's lawsuit will be tossed out. He's basically saying GBP is suing for similar or identical items that they already settled on earlier this year.Comment

Well, to be fair, it is just my interpretation. Obviously its still very early on. We won't know if I am correct until we see how it all plays out. But having taken law courses back in the day AND having served on jury duty, my interpretation is likely going to be dead on accurate.Comment

Al Haymon is a boxing pimp nothing more
Haymon has his boxing plantation and staffs it with field hands who box to work the plantation just like 160 years ago. Same mentality of the field hand boxers now as then. Little education and need to be cared for. Haymon takes advantage of these clueless filed hands/boxers and uses them to fit haymon's benefits on the plantation.Comment

Haymon knows he is screwed if this goes to court so he is trying everything to get the arbitration. At the end of the day Haymon will cut Oscar a huge check. Oscar has high priced lawyers and already sued Haymon and Schaefer and the same ones saying Haymon has nothing to worry about are the same ones on this site a year ago saying Oscar had no case. Well he did and forced Haymon to paying reportedly 8 figures to Oscar. He cutting another check.Comment
