I don't expect you to see things for what they are, you're just a hater and haters gonna hate. Have fun with your delusions.

Yes, he's been inactive for a while so I cut him some slack, but how many catchweight tune-ups does this supposed #2 p4p guy need?

That is not the only criteria, like I said above, there isn't much left for him to prove at 168, he already "cleaned it out" like many Ward fans like to say. So why stick around at a weightclass he "cleaned out" and is currently struggling to even make and call people out from other divisions to come to HIS weight? Especially when, apparently, he isn't even willing to compromise, work something out, or meet anyone in the middle to make it happen (as the B-side btw) and his body seems to be struggling to even make that weight anymore? I get that he's been out the game for a while but at this point it seems like he is just draining himself to stay safe at 168, instead of upping his game and daring to be great at 175.

I'm not saying he should fight Kovalev NEXT, but he should be on the warpath training for that potential fight. Win or lose, Ward will get respect for stepping up.
Abraham-Steiglitz winner is WBO champion, Jack-Groves winner is WBC champion, and James Degale is the new IBF champion.

You add Gilberto Ramirez, Callum Smith, Fedor Chudinov, and a host of other young fighters starting to break through, and Andre Ward, with the year and a half layoff, is now facing a super middleweight division with a ton of fresh fights for him.

Are you actually trying to say that Ward is gonna duck Golovkin?

            Do the math.

            WARD = small paycheque

Froch is worth going to 168 for, lots of $$$$$ to be made in the UK.

Ward can't draw flies. It would be a poor payday for Golovkin, so it's not really worth it.

                The G-cubed bandwagon is divided.....

                Half are saying.....
" 172? Ward should get his fat ass up to 175 and stop ducking Kovalev "

                The other half are saying.....
                " 164 sounds fair "

You guys need to get your story straight

Have I missed something? I thought Ward was after big money fights? That's why he didn't want the Kovalev fight, right? Because it wasn't PPV?

Paraphasing the man himself, after he fights Ramirez, then what? After he fights Groves and Degale, then what?

These guys aren't on his level and they certainly aren't making him any money.

Until Ward gets himself a few more titles, NO fight with him involved will be a PPV fight. Not against Golovkin, not against Kovalev, not against DeGale or any other SMW champion. Ward will be fighting on BET for the foreseeable future.
