    • Also, the funny thing is.....

I have been saying for the longest time that Loeffner turns into a stuttering idiot everytime Wards name is mentioned.

I first noticed that a long time ago.

Ward started being mentioned about the same time that Team Golovkin stated they would fight anyone from 154-168..... but Loeffner always had a different excuse, and he always quickly changed the subject away from Ward.

      It was painfully obvious.

Good to see that he can now utter Wards name without having to reach for his asthma inhaler..... but 164 means that Team Golovkin are not interested in facing Andre Ward.

      I understand why.

        The bandwagon is on DEFCON-5.

The best thing about this is Team Gokovkin thought this was a macho will fight anyone statement. Not seeing the hipocricy in this, nor the limitations it has exposed for Golovkin. They literally shot themselves in the foot, BIG TIME.

This is really too good to be true. A classic thread for the ages.

I also like how everyone avoided my question like the plague. Who thinks Golovkin can beat Ward at 168?

          We need some more laughs.
Yup, and I want them to explain how.

And I want them to use big words.

How the fcuk could Golovkin beat Ward ?

          How ?

Be better off asking Loeffner how he thinks Golovkin could beat Ward.

i'm basically the only consistent poster in the historty of the internet.

ward should have fought dawson at 175 lbs. that would have been fair. dawson is not a winner, and ward is. he'd still ahve won, but i don't know if the left hooks would shake dawson the way they did. you tend to doubt it.

UD 12 at 175 is how that fight should hve looked.
I agree on all points, good post.

That fight should have been at 175.

You likely know this, but just for others.....

I have heard a number of inaccurate statements re: Ward/Dawson.

Firstly..... " Ward demanded Dawson come down to 168 "

            corrected by.....

" nope, Dawson offered 168, Ward accepted "

            That is only partly true.

I distinctly remember Dawson being interviewed.

He was asked, why not fight at catchweight..... instead of dropping to 168, why not meet somewhere in the middle?

Dawson replied words to this effect..... I dont want a catchweight, I want his title..... I have always wanted a title at 168, I have always known that I'm good enough..... I can make 168 no problem, and Ward is the best at supermiddleweight.

            Dawson wanted Wards title.

All Golovkin would need is an honest referee who stops Ward from using his illegal tactics (deliberate headbutts and clamping GGG's arm).

Ward is nothing without his illegal tactics. He has the punching power of a 12 year old girl.

Nice to agree with you for once. Well said.

Ward is probably the most well-rounded fighter in the game today.

He does EVERYTHING better than Golovkin.

Honestly, the parallels between Ward/GGG and Floyd/Manny are staggering.

From the hype/bullshht, to the fans, to the contrasting styles.

Golovkin gets Pacquiao'd..... outclassed, found wanting, and falling well short.

Because he already "cleaned out" 168 and has said many times that he plans to move up to 175. He doesn't really have much else to prove at 168 and at this point should be moving up but instead wants everyone (GGG/Kova) to fight him at his own weight (probably in his own hometown as well). Yes, he's been inactive for a while so I cut him some slack, but how many catchweight tune-ups does this supposed #2 p4p guy need?

That is not the only criteria, like I said above, there isn't much left for him to prove at 168, he already "cleaned it out" like many Ward fans like to say. So why stick around at a weightclass he "cleaned out" and is currently struggling to even make and call people out from other divisions to come to HIS weight? Especially when, apparently, he isn't even willing to compromise, work something out, or meet anyone in the middle to make it happen (as the B-side btw) and his body seems to be struggling to even make that weight anymore? I get that he's been out the game for a while but at this point it seems like he is just draining himself to stay safe at 168, instead of upping his game and daring to be great at 175.

I'm not saying he should fight Kovalev NEXT, but he should be on the warpath training for that potential fight. Win or lose, Ward will get respect for stepping up.

If the fight is going to happen,it has to be at 168 like Abel and ggg have said before, and they'd better get Tom on the same page, before he says any more ****** ****.
Not the same thing at all and you damn well know it!

There's a big difference between fighting people in the SAME DIVISION as you (Cotto) are at catchweight and fighting someone in a division above at catchweight.

There's also an even bigger difference between fighting people at a LOWER weight class (Canelo) and fighting someone in a higher weight class at catchweight.

Damn I can't believe you jus forced me to defend GGG of all people but **** is **** no matter what the circumstances, and the comparison you just made is whit
