They claim it's a rule in section 34 of something i'm too lazy to go back and check what it was, the participant who just got stripped can appeal within 14 days after being stripped.

Don't know if he's gonna appeal. He had all the time in the world in the first place to make his decision; pay the sanctioning fee or get stripped. He made his choice so I don't think he cares.

I stated exactly what I wanted to state. Do you complain about the money Wall Street MBA's make? Are you only complaining about what Floyd makes, while dismissing the amount of money Manny made?

And by winning the title, he was contracted to pay the sanctioning fees. Contracts work both ways. I don't give a crap how much money anyone made from the fight, they earned it. It does not change the fact that they have their obligations to honor as well. What is it with fighters today? Mayweather does not want to honor obligations of which he is well aware, Cotto refuses to honor his mandatory defense... these guys are supposed to be grown men, not spoiled children who throw tantrums when they do not get their way.
