The difference between then and now-no internet forum full of ******ed fans of Manny, Kov, or GGG. People just enjoyed the boxing they saw without having to deal with some imbecile telling them they just saw a scared coward running.

Wow!!! That was a great read. It even had ducking allegations.

I just find it odd that they put the Saddler fights in there, those fights are not really highlights for Pep.

That does go to show though no matter how good a boxer you are there is always someone that will be able to figure you out, usually that person is bigger and longer~

Lately, Floyd when matched with a tough opponent goes into full clinch mode, did it in the manny fight and the second Maidana fight. He's the Welterweight Wladomir now.

Pep broke his freaking back in a plane crash for crying outloud and still went on to win championships. Floyd was upset about a little cit.

And Pep trainer never told him his was fighting scared.

Floyd doesn't even compare to Pep. period, point, the end.

Ironic isn't it. Pep, widly considered the second greatest fighter of all time, and when you watch you can't help but see the similarities between him and Mayweather stylistically. Interesting because in most circles Pep was considered the best boxer of all time but with Robinsons athletic gifts it made him that much harder to beat.

I also truly doubt Larry was digging for this... Pep, historically was known for winning a round of boxing without throwing a punch. Which brings up the concept of fundamentals, judging and today's lack of knowledge. One of the main focus points in boxing is "Hit but don't get Hit"... Something Pep was amazing at, exactly why he was considered to be so great and yet rarely spoken of. This has to do with today's lack of knowledge of the history of the sport and the lack of knowing the sport. Every sport has idiotic critics with no knowledge of the sport (never competeing, never studying the history) and the Internet has allowed every individual the voice to spew hate or criticism... Ironically it also gave those individuals the access to the history, and videos which you may have never of saw.

You obviously don't know sh** about pep. Out of over 200 fights, pep only had 65 KOs
As I said before pep was known to have won a round not even throwing a punch... Yet he goes out throwing combos and looking to KO a guy. Okay!!!!'

i remember when people used to say hoya lost the trinidad fight because he ran the last 3 rounds. now people do that for 12 rounds and its a boxing masterclass. or they just clinch for 12 straight rounds thats also a boxing masterclass. the only thing thats not a boxing masterclass is knocking people out. thats cave man sh-it.
