Comments Thread For: Klitschko vs. Fury Reach Terms, Avoid Purse Bid Hearing

If Fury can move the whole fight and stick his jab he could possibly win. He cant though. Fury can move for ~3 rounds, then he starts to stand still and falls inside with people, flicking out his little nothing jab with no authority.
Explosive Lefthook right hand from Wlad puts him to sleep most likely.
He hasn't fought anyone with any kind of athleticism since cunningham, and Fury is lucky Steve cant punch.Comment

The size also works both ways. Fury has developed a style that works well for him to beat short little guys. It involves lots of leaning in, and standing up straight to use his height to change range, in close. Always going back with his hands down confident his opponents can't reach him.
That will work against him against a taller guy, like Klit, especially one that is explosive. Its the reason he got dropped vs Steve. Hands down, pulled back, caught by right hand has Steve exploded forward.Comment

yea,,,the cunningham fight doesnt bode well for him but hes improved since then imo and he didnt show any respect at all for cunningham. I doubt very much he'll be sticking his chin in the air or sticking out his tongue with wlads missiles coming at him. he'll be more careful im sureComment

Even in the Chisora and Hammer fights.
Chin up in the air at all times, movement gone by round 3 or 4.Comment

Peppering people with lazy jabs works with short guys that lack explosiveness. Vs someone with athleticism, he will get countered over the jab, and it will disappear. If the fight goes long enough for that to happen. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Wlad blasts him out in 1-2 rounds.

Spot on, bro.
It has been really poor matchmaking on Team Fury's part - Tyson hasn't fought anyone with comparable attributes to Wlad.
If Fury thinks he's going to win the battle of the jabs, he's in for a rude awakening. What's more, though he's surprisingly fleet-footed, his guard is often open - this should present opportunities for Wladimir's left hook to land.Comment

The key to success for Fury is to press Wladimir from the opening bell. If he can back up him up and employ rough tactics on the inside (i.e. throwing some good body shots, and physically bulling Wladimir) he stands a chance.
That, of course, is easier said than done...Comment
