Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios' Manager: Don't See Brook Fight Happening

For the past few weeks, negotiations have been taking place for a fight between IBF welterweight titlist, Kell Brook and Brandon Rios that was slated for September 12th in England. But according to Cameron Dunkin, who manages Rios, the fight seems to be wavering.

"I don't see it happening right now,'' Dunkin told BoxingScene.com on Sunday afternoon.

"We've got too many problems with it. It changes every time I speak with Top Rank and so I'm not feeling too positive about it right now.''

**** you Eddie Hearn. If Rios comes to your backyard and beats Brook why the **** would he have to come back to fight in the UK again? How about have Brook travel? Cause if Rios did win then he would be the champ calling the shots.

They are saying its because Brook wants a rematch clause and something to do with the way it is structured

"They are close but still haggling over some language, particularly on a rematch clause for Brook" Dan Rafael said in his chat at ESPN.com.

Blowing a world title chance you really dont deserve over a rematch clause is ridiculous. What the hells the issue with going back to England for a rematch anyways?

Brook draws a bigger crowd in the UK and it's on UK PPV.

This fat idiot would be losing money trying to stage a potential rematch in the US.

And doesn't he know that rematch clauses/options are standard when you're not the mandatory? Rios needs to get a new manager.

Cameron Dunkin Doughnuts should be grateful his bum ass client is even getting a title shot in the first place.

If Rios became champion a rematch against Brook would sell out any arena in California. Rios has A LOT of fans. More than half the fans in Alvarado's hometown were cheering for Rios. Brook is clearly ducking Rios with all these ridiculous demands.

Lord knows how and why Rios keeps getting title shots at 147 or anywhere else
