Sometimes people forget how good a prime RJJ was.

Kovalev has never fought anyone that should make anyone think he beats prime Roy, let alone beat someone to make you think that. Prime Roy is as good a fighter as there has been in my lifetime.

If Kovalev crushed Ward, I'd reconsider.

I actually don't dislike him, I think he's a good commentator. But it's not something to be glossed over, he was caught.
No, when Jones tried to determine what it was that caused the indication, at first he thought it was nasal spray and then later determined it was creatine. That is what history will show, ONE TIME and against Hall.

Jones would be the favorite, but I would bet the house on Kovalev.

In his prime, Roy by dismantlement, maybe stopage. Today? Kovalev by well timed sneeze.

However, Kovalev is a real mean mofo who genuinely wants to inflict pain on his opponent. He fought Pascal in an "if he dies, he dies" manner. Who do you think would take this fight?
                I gotta go with RJJr.

He'd hit Kov 2 or 3 times before Sergey could react and then bounce away.

Rinse, repeat for 12 and it ends up as RJJr UD Krusher Kovalev and then on Sunday we'd all argue about "runners".

What people fail to admit when considering these Fantasy Fights, is that you have to get hit as well. There is no way SK wouldn't hit Roy with flush, hard accurate shots in a fight. Based on Roy's lack of opposition, he wasn't used to getting hit. He fought a lot of taxi Drivers, Cps, Firemen, etc. What we didn't know back in his prime is that he couldn't take a punch. end of fight right there. You see what happened to Roy's boy? Pascal? Hahaha! The same would've happened to Roy except he wouldn't have gotten up!

That's bullsht because he took flush punches since he was a child all the way through his amateur career all the way through his prime and was never stopped or even close to being stopped. Quit the bullsht.

Roy Jones via Late round TKO. Too fast, and too slick for Kovalev.
