Roy Jones Jr vs Sergey Kovalev at 175, Who Takes It?

No, that was the excuse they came up with down the line. Their original excuse was nasal spray. Jones Jr tested positive for anabolic steroids and was 5/6 times over the limit.
I actually don't dislike him, I think he's a good commentator.
But it's not something to be glossed over, he was caught.Last edited by Weebler I; 07-06-2015, 09:37 AM.Comment

RJJ at his best was pretty much invinsible. Kovalev is very good but Roy was a different breed, he'd beat Kova for sure, possibly by KO.Comment

Have you even done your research. out of just curiosity, so you may not looked dumb. Although the supplement Jones took is now considered a Anabolic Steriod... Their are 2 thing that make me feel it's down right ******. A. It was an over the counter drug to help people lose body fat, not but less than 10 years ago was it taken off shelves. B. All the testing that has been done on the drug showed no improvement in strength, cardio or even losing fat (the one thing it was supposed to do). Yes the man made a mistake but has it been an issue since... No. Enough said!No, that was the excuse they came up with down the line. Their original excuse was nasal spray. Roy in his prime at 175 would beat ANYBODY imo....Krusher got game, more game than I thought BEFORE the BHop fight....but a prime Roy at LHW has too much speed and skills for BOTH Krusher and BHop imo....Roy wins a WIDE UD....anywhere from 12-0 to 9-3Comment

There's no proof that's what he took, that's just the story they offered up. The original story was nasal spray but they all have a story like that. Kal Yafai has just argued his brother spiked his drink, Rios argued the sample glass was dirty. Berto said it was a medication for his elbow. Morales argued tainted meat. Peterson argued baby balls. The list goes on, what makes Jones's story more legit?Have you even done your research. out of just curiosity, so you may not looked dumb. 'Former IBF light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods says hes not surprised that former opponent Antonio Tarver and other prominent American boxers are testing dirty. I fought in America three times and the testing situation was always joke, Woods told the Sheffield Star. In three fights, I had one little test and was told it was only for marijuana. Its always annoyed me how rife American boxing is with drugs and steroids, but at least they are cracking down on it now and people are being caught. The trouble is that people there will only get fined pocket money.;
''Me and Roy Jones didn't even get drug tested after the fight''
"When it comes to taking drugs there is no excuse, none whatsoever"
Woods continued with "I remember when I was boxing if I had a cold I used to go to the doctors and see if there was something that I could take because I knew that there were things I couldnt take; boxers know"Last edited by Weebler I; 07-06-2015, 10:34 AM.Comment

Jones claimed he took a product called Ripped Fuel, which contained ephedra..yet he and an opponent tested positive for steroids..which is why most are skeptical..There's no proof that's what he took, that's just the story they offered up.
