Did Mayweather just basically answer all of this guy's questions....

this interview was from 5 years ago.

basically the interviewer was constantly crying throughout the interview..."why wont you fight shane, why wont you fight pacquiao, why wont you fight cotto, why wont you fight the top guys in your division, why wont you fight margarito, why wont you fight paul williams." blah blah blah...he was saying mayweather was scared to fight these guys.

ok few years pass, Mayweather has beaten

    - Shane Mosley
    - Victor Ortiz
    - Miguel Cotto
    - Robert Guerrero (questionable opponent)
    - Saul Alvarez
    - Marcos Maidana (2x)
    - Manny Pacquiao

in my opinion he would have gave margarito a boxing lesson. also he would have beaten paul williams..

mayweather has beaten all of the guys the interviewer wanted him to fight plus alvarez & maidana who are top fighters in the division. plus he beat ortiz right after ortiz came off a big victory over berto.

now people saying mayweather is scared of khan, scared of brook, scared of thurman. this just shows how badly people wanna see him lose.

i think mayweather should do a follow up interview and ask him "who do you want me to fight now...?"

The thing you gotta look at is when Mayweather fought these guys, and not that he fought them. The ones you gotta look at for this are Pacquiao, Cotto, and Mosley. Each was supposed to fight Mayweather several years before the actual fights took place. Pacquiao fight was supposed to happen in 2009, Cotto fight back in 2008, Mosley way back in the day. Mayweather has a reputation for waiting out his opponents, this really can't be argued, it's just a fact. He waits 4,5,6 years in order for his tough opposition to get old, get shot from wars they've been in, maybe knocked out a few times. So, no I don't necessarily give him credit for some of the victories he's had, its just smoke and mirrors. Trust me, Mayweather is a smart guy and knows how to take the safest routes to victory. He hasn't been in a fight where the other guy could actually and realistically win, in a very long time.

And no he wouldn't beat Williams or Margarito. Those guys have they're own advantages over Mayweather, and Mayweather is not one to let fighters come in with advantages over him, we've seen this many times. The advantages they have over him are that they are big welterweights, high volume punching, good chin, come forward, constant pressure, power. Yeah, he would of lost to both of these guys.

lol so he fights cotto after 4 years and pac after waiting 5 years and you think thats shutting people up? in any other sport that would be laughable. if a team beats the patriots in 5 years will that prove they are better than the patriots of last year? can't believe some fans are so clueless. floyd obviously waits for explosive fighters to slow down and flat out refuses to fight some like margarito. or in floyd fans minds...he made them eat their words! just took 5 years...of waiting

Mayweather fought Mosley RIGHT AFTER Mosley destroyed margarito...
Mayweather fought Cotto RIGHT AFTER Cotto destroyed margarito...
When Mayweather fought Pacquiao, they were both a little bit slower.

and No, Margarito and Williams both lose to Mayweather. Margarito's only strength is pressure and chin. those advantages dont apply to mayweather because:
1.) mayweawther doesnt go for the KO
2.) mayweather knows how to move around the ring so the pressure that margarito would apply wouldnt mean ****. just watch the maidana/guerrero fight.

some of you still dont get it. pressure and power alone is not going to beat floyd. you are NOT going to knock him out. you need speed, volume and accuracy in order to beat floyd on points. thats why i think khan has a chance to beat him..

how the **** does margarito beat mayweather knowing clottey was giving him a clear boxing lesson before the hand injury? wtf? even cotto was outboxing marg in the 1st fight in till marg drew him in a slugging match. mayweather will box box box and not care about getting into the heat of the moment with marg.

Floyd won't get the credit he truly deserves at least a decade after he retires. Trust me, we probably won't see another Floyd Mayweather for a long time, if ever. At least some of us fans can see that already and look past his personality and lifestyle to appreciate his boxing skills.

I remember pacf@gs were swearing up and down that this guy was a top 5 mc right after this interview lmao.....this guy is one of those "bloodboxing" type of idiots who overrate the **** outta past fighters and always has something to b1tch about the new generation......they're a disgruntled group of people. He did a recent interview and was still hating. He hated on Roy Jones Jr. too. This guy is washed up as an emcee and a joke.

Mayweather just waits too long for a good fight.
He sucker punches Ortiz as Floyd fans roar with excitement
He fights Guerrero god only knows why and his fans blow job the win
Floyd has carefully cherry picked his opponents and made fools of everyone
