The same reason a lot of other boxers have.

I wonder what happened if a great heavyweight prospect, a new Mike Tyson came up in the Scene! I guess he would be avoided like the Plaque and never get a title-shot. Even in the 80s guys were afraid of Tyson, in this era it would be even worse and Tyson would only get bums in the ring.

What's new? Another press clip of Team Golovkin crying because they can't get a big fight.

So since they can't get Floyd or Froch they will fight another stumblebum.

Because the US olympic team wasn't flush with talent and if Ward fought at 165 Dirrell wouldn't have gone to the Olympics.

Golovkin fights at a lower weight than his younger days too.

Suddenly Golovkin pipes up with his fairy tales. What a coincidence!

Where were these stories last year?
Is this a Golovkin diss or Ward diss? Are you suggesting that GGG is responding to Ward's bs about lying to the fans and Ward's coping out by deciding not to talk about it, or are you saying that GGG is talking only because Ward's not?

Either way I don't care, Ward should say something about whether he has ever been approached with the fight by HBO, and if so his version of what happened.

That much is obvious. Where were these claims before? Ward has always maintained the same position. Golovkin has only suddenly started speaking up and it just happens to be right after Ward said he wasn't going to talk about them any more

maybe you should delete or at least edit the article then?

And the author of the article is standing behind his interview, claiming the CSAC is using a play on words as how their denying it. CSAC didn't refute the story until after the TR lawsuit was filed, including them in it. They clearly don't want to get dragged into the lawsuit being the reason they denied it. Haymon was already busted for blocking multiple venues for Matthysse/Provodnikov.
