I like both GGG and Ward but GGG was calling out Ward when he had promotional issues. No doubt GGG is the best at 160 and nobody wants to fight him in that weightclass then move up and fight Ward. The argument of "he doesn't sell" doesn't hold water, he fought Monroe in his last fight who sure as hell does not sell either. GGG-Ward is a toss up now, 3 yrs ago I would have given the edge to Ward. If talks of Kovalev/Ward are true then I commend Ward for wanting to fight the best at LH.

He's not DROPPING to 154 for Lara. If Lara can get on HBO. GGG will fight him at 160. Not many fighters he'd drop to 1554 for, but would happily meet them at 160

It was regarding big fights of course , you dont drain yourself or go up in weight just to fight anyone who wants it , if you dont understand it from the quote there is nothing that can help you , sorry.

This fool has just bigger and bigger mouth. Lately he is talking trash to Ward and says "he turned down this and turned down that" while Ward hardly could agree on anything while he had promoter issues and add the fact that Golovkin hasn't backed up this talk with actual facts yet, I guess Ward could say the same, only difference would be that less people would believe it him because he is disliked by the majority.
Golovkin lives in his own fantasy world where he is P4P #1 based on wins over Murray and Geale and he thinks about himself like a victim of circumstances who can't do anything and everybody just ducks him.
I used to haven't got any problem with him just his more ******ed fans and the force fed hype around him but now it changed. **** this guy!
I hope the Ward fight will get done and Ward dismantle him. Though it's more likely that Ward will go up and fight Kovalev because opposite of Golovkin I don't think he is afraid of fight with the best from a weight class above him.

Andre Ward turned down a fight with me three times to HBO! He knows the truth and only excuses are from him. He even avoided me in Olympics by changing weight. Maybe he heard I would fight at 168!


The quote above is from the recent GGG interview . My question is why does he keep referring back to what he claims Ward said while Ward was in a contractual stalemate ? If he really wanted to fight him then , then why won't he fight him now that Wards willing and able ? These Eastern Euros with their watered down Jedi mind tricks need to stop .

Someone on behalf of Golovkin contacted us and said he was misquoted by this UK paper who conducted the interview, City AM, and he never said some of those items that were being claimed, including those about Ward.
