He's the guy Haymon will sacrifice to Wlad so he can continue protecting Wilder until Wlad retires.

Atleast he did better than Mansour did (against Dawejko)

Charles Martin is the best young heavyweight in the world. I've seen lots of his fights in California. He beats Wilder and will make a great fight with Klitschko. Great to see him get exposure now.

I've seen a number of his fights, as well.

Can you tell me which ones you were particularly impressed with?

Charles Martin is age 29 and ranked by the BoxRec computer as the 38th best heavyweight in the world.

He looks okay in the ring, but he's yet to defeat a top 50 opponent. It's impossible to tell how good he is because he's never been in with a live heavyweight.

Martin looked pretty good destroying Dwejko who beat Rossy and gave Mansour 10 tough rounds. Looks good to me: https://*************/watch?v=FwGV95hPsb4

another luis Ortiz , chazz witherspoon or joe hanks until he proves otherwise. A nice record who has no resume. joe hanks & chazz had nice records until they stepped up their level of opposition. Ortiz is 36 & still fighting cans. We will see what he has soon enough.

Considering the fact that I haven't looked at Alphabet rankings in, well, forever. That helps clarify why I don't know the name. Something also tells me, and this is just a hunch on my part, that he is more then likely not a true top 5 fighter. And I would bet that realistically he is more than likely somewhere around a top 55 fighter. Am I wrong??

He started boxing at 22. Another Tarver, Hopkins, Martinez. Unfortunately he's in a weight class where you can't really grow, one punch ends your growth as a boxer in HW.
