Smh... Legal battles, just like boxing are fought in the ring. The legal ring is the courtroom and that is where PBC will do it's talking (fighting). What do you expect them to do? Come out with their key points (uppercuts) from the jump so that the prosecution will have time to rebuttal (counterpunch)?

PBC did exactly as the company should have. Put out a few meaningless words (jabs) not meant to hurt but just enough to keep the attackers at bay and let em know they are here to fight. Haymon will sit back, examine the prosecutions allegations (study fight tapes) and develop as flawless a defence as he can for fight night (trial date).

There really is no merrit. Oscar is on Crack and Arum is having problems with HBO, Plus he can't really make many good fights in the upper weight classes.

Haymon and the Predictable Boring Crap series will be sucking human methane by the end of 2016. Arum will be dead and Goldenboy will still reign supreme.

Youre a dumb ass. Its a statement to the media. Its not their formal submission to the court.

Theyre not being prosecuted, theyre being sued. But otherwise, yes, they just made a statement to the media. The lawyers will mull over the 50 pages and create their argument to have it dismissed.

If no PBC, then what is Rob Arums alternative ?

Recycled, pre-determined, Top Rank in-house fights.....

              No thanks Bob !

It would be really ****** to reveal your strategy in tbe press. It's best to wait until you're in court to unleash your rebuttal/strategy. What you call a weak statement is a prelude to a blitz attack that will destroy rob arum. Top rank and golden boy are extremely jealous of haymons business model and his success. They are envious that he has access to so many networks and is not tied down to just 1 network. Haymon has changed the game forever. These law suits will fail because they are without merit. The haymon shows are better than hbo or showtime. Sour g****s on top rank and gbp.

only a matter of time before pbc takes over hbo buddy go look at some these fights hbo is putting together. they cancelled a purse bid for stevenson kovolav which is arguably the most entertaining fight there is to be made im sorry but that counts as like -10000 bonus points for hbo lol

You say said Arums a quoir boy conpared to Haymon, which is isnt the case at all. Maybe if you ignore everything that Bobs done, sued for, or even convicted of, yes, he might look like a quoir boy. But a quick search of "Bob Arum, controversy" just might change ur perception of him.

They hate each other, they never agreed on anything in the negotiations, CBS' Les Moonves made it all happen. He was the go to, he spoke with all parties, he worked the networks. Two months ago was so important, that Moonves managed Arum & Haymon and took the fight to the finish line. Your comparing Arum to Paterno is idiotic. TR wanted to sue Haymon before the May-Pac negotiations. You don't let those differences get in the way of the largest sporting event in history. Now the timing is right. What Haymon is doing is striving to monopolize Boxing and all the prime time "free" Networks. That's not good for anyone, and these illiterate fighters will also find that to be the case as their careers move along at the authority of their pimp, Al.
... like Paterno, in the sense of spending his final days on this Earth trying to salvage his reputation.

If Haymon's vision wins out, HBO likely throws the towel in on boxing. With Arum no longer having a stage to try and rebuild from, he'll get laughed off like Don King, as an irrelevant figure who might've hung on just a touch too long.

Rather being remembered as some legendary fight promoter, Arum would be remember as the dinosaur who got pushed out of the sport that he's committing his last 50 years to, dragging a faded Pacquiao across Asia, solely for the site fee.
