Theres only a very few top tier fighters on PBC. Thats Thurman/Guerrero/KHAN.

Garcia, who knows when he's coming back to fight at the level he left after the Mathysse fight.

Thats only three, the other guys are unproven or porspects. Once those guys fight each other, it's over. They cant' replay the same movie over and over again.

As the PBC movement began to spread throughout the industry, such legal matters were bound to surface. The company has since prepared to fight it out in the long haul with business as usual in the meantime, as Haymon finds dates and networks for an estimated stable of more than 200 fighters. Al Haymon is really stepping on some toes. First, Golden Boy files a lawsuit. Now its Top Rank. Haymon is forcing everyone, from promoters to networks, to change the way they do business and the good ole boys network doesn't like it. After ***** was elected president, all the racists started saying, "we want our country back." Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya (and HBO, which I am sure is backing them) are now saying, "we want our monopoly back."

When the lawsuits fail, I guess the next step will be to go after the investment firm that is funding PBC.

This comes from a guy who thinks that four fights between Pacquaio and JMM, three fights between Pacquaio and Morales, two fights between Pacquaio and Bradley and two fights between Pacquaio and Barerra made perfect sense; and who will hail Pacquaio's trilogy with Brandon Rios as one of the greatest rivalries in the history of boxing.

And I bet you thought it was a ok when Arum had a monopoly on who Pacquiao fought. A few years ago. Dudes had to sign with Top Rank in order to fight with Pacquiao.

Because you don't jeopardize the biggest sporting event in history, just like Manny not canceling the fight over his shoulder not fully healing. The biggest payday in everyone's career (fighters/promoters/trainers/networks/hotels)... If you make waves and the fight is called off, it may not ever come around again, so you have that pressure to just get thru it. Arum & Haymon hate each other, so the likelihood of them working together after the May-Pac fight is zero. So now the timing makes sense, and you could see this coming anyway. Haymon makes Arum look like a choir boy. He's a real thug.

I don't get how TR could sue Haymon. It's like hey your not letting other promoters get dates or make $. But let's forget that 2 months ago we worked together and put on the biggest financial fight in history, That part isn't important.

This will probably be a death blow for Arum who will probably go out like Paterno.
No it won't idiot. The May-Pac money was so huge, they HAD to check their ego's in to pull such a fight off. They hate each other, they never agreed on anything in the negotiations, CBS' Les Moonves made it all happen. He was the go to, he spoke with all parties, he worked the networks. Two months ago was so important, that Moonves managed Arum & Haymon and took the fight to the finish line. Your comparing Arum to Paterno is idiotic. TR wanted to sue Haymon before the May-Pac negotiations. You don't let those differences get in the way of the largest sporting event in history. Now the timing is right. What Haymon is doing is striving to monopolize Boxing and all the prime time "free" Networks. That's not good for anyone, and these illiterate fighters will also find that to be the case as their careers move along at the authority of their pimp, Al.
