Only a few of the most exciting, charismatic fighters, the guys who are going to be pulling in the crowds and getting the fans talking over the next few years, are with Haymon.

Not with Haymon are GGG, Kovalev, Ward, Canelo, Cotto, Lemiuex, DeGale, Brook, Lomachenko, to name just a few.

And if you are talking about the heavyweights, the division that always catches the attention of casual sports fans more than any other, Haymon has nobody but Wilder, and Wilder will be nobody in 12 months time.
Degale and Brook are with Eddie Hearn, who hasa pretty strong working relationship with Haymon.

Beyond that, Haymon has Deontay Wilder(if he beats Klitschko), Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, and Errol Spence Jr all positioned to deliver as bigger stars than anyone on your list; and that's without even considering how those young prospects with Haymon will develop.

You could have also put "(if he beats Povetkin)".

And the WBC's highest rated contender behind Povetkin is Anthony Joshua...so Wilder could have plenty of if's just dealing with his own contenders, without even getting to unification with Klitschko.

So Danny Garcia, after getting some questionable decisions, is in position to become a bigger star by moving up to a higher weight class?

It's nice that you can guarantee Spence's stardom before he even steps up in class, fights his first 12 rounder, or wins his first title.

Wilder beating Klitschko, which would necessarily mean that he beat Povetkin, would result in having an American undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. You add that Wilder's got a 1000 megawatt personailty, and he'd be a license to print money.

Danny Garcia is a young, undefeated, Philadelphia-born, English and Spanish-speaking Puerto Rican fighter, at a point where Miguel Cotto is on his way out and Felix Verdejo is still 1-2 years away from breaking out. Doubt it if you want, but if Danny Garcia keeps winning, he's best positioned to be rallied around by Puerto Rican fans off of the island.

Errol Spence still needs to perform and win his fight but, from what I've seen so far, I don't think that that would be an issue.

        hate if you want.

It's great that you're giving Wilder the win over Povetkin, but he hasn't done it yet.

It's not an issue to you, when you're already giving away wins like Wilder over Povetkin.

You like to argue for the sake of arguing, which is fine; my initial comment was made in response to comment #58, who tried to argue that, without Floyd, Haymon's entire stable of fighters would be dwarfed the the exciting ability to draw of "good boy" Golovkin, Kovalev, Lomachenko, Lemieux, Cotto and Canelo (Degale/Brook are basically Haymon affiliates at this point, and its not clear how welcoming HBO would be to Andre Ward on his return), none of whom (sans Canelo, with Cotto in New York and Lemiuex in Montreal drawing crowds to their home cities) are currently all that marketable.

I pointed out three fighters who are on the verge of being more marketable than any of the fighters mentioned could even dream of, and then you started looking about on some bull****.

I think Deontay Wilder beats Povetkin in decisive fashion (Wilder's got a far better chin than Klitschko does, can control the 6'2 Povetkin behind his long heavy jab, and has the legs/mind to negate Povetkin were he to get past the jab), and I think Wilder beats Klitschko (Klitschko is starting to look long in the tooth, Wilder's got massive punching power, and Klitschko would be unable to use the stall/muddle tactics that he's used to get through his last few fights; personally don't think that Fury punches hard enough to lock in the victory).

Danny Garcia, at all of 27 and undefeated, is primed to carry the flag for "mainland" Puerto Ricans within the next 1-2 years, whether you like it or not (barring that he keeps winning). You add that Danny Garcia "comes from the audience" as a young man of Puerto Rican descent, like the majority of people who find root in the Puerto Rican communities in NYC, Philadelphia, and other cities, and you can hate if you want.

And lastly, Errol Spence is "the truth"; southpaw, brutal body puncher, top-level boxing ability, only 25 years of age, frame to eventually fill out 147/154/160, etc. Discount the hype if you want.
