He never mentioned the shoulder during the Kellerman interview when he claimed he won the fight. The shoulder excuse came after he realized the overwhelming concensus was that he lost the fight. Simple stuff.

Those that didn't want Floyd to win can't decide if Manny was shot or if Manny was hurt. They can't determine when the alleged injury occurred. If they think it happened during the fight, they can't explain why he fought rounds 1-3 the same way he fought rounds 4-12.

People that just wanted to watch them fight are calling Manny out for his poor performance, his lying, and his excuses.

That's your interpretatoin of how it happened. I don't think he had any plans to mention the shoulder at all until Arum filled the press in and then they asked Pac about it directly. He didn't bring the shoulder up on his own accord.

But even if that weren't the case, so what? Why does he have to say it immediately after the fight? I still don't get the fascination with the exact timing. To me it doesn't necessarily make the claim more or less genuine to have said it at a time after the Kellerman interview. Sure he could have said it then, but why does he have to?

Because if he said it in the post fight interview with Max, then you get the sense it was real because there was no one telling him what to say.

He said it in the post fight presser, after Koncz whispered in his ear, after he was holding his biceps. This makes it seem like its fake and that Koncz is telling him to say it.

If so, after all of your arguments about timing relative to Floyd requesting Maidana to get new gloves, to now suggest timing isn't an issue would be very hypocritical.

Agree that Floyd's best weapon is taking away opponents best weapon. He's done it for 18 years. Corrales was a monster, Floyd neutralized him just like how he does to Pac and everyone else. It's amazing how a man can do that to another man and make the other man look like a 5 year old boy
