  • Comments Thread For: McCrory: Pacquiao Said He Won, Then Said He Was Hurt

Former IBF cruiserweight champion and Sky commentator, Glenn McCrory, gave his take on the May 2nd super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

He felt Pacquiao showed some bad sportsmanship in the contest. Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision. After the match was over, Pacquiao first complained about the decision and claimed he won. At the press conference, he said his performance was affected by a right shoulder injury.

People with a fondness for the sport feel the same way. People with a fondness for Pacquiao are in denial.

I thought Pacquiao looked fine on fight night, it was a very tactical fight, but Pacquiao looked like Pacquiao, he just wasn't good enough to win more than 2 or 3 rounds. It was probably Pacquiao's best defensive performance of his career, maybe his best pure boxing performance. Mayweather dictated the whole fight and Pacquiao did as good as he could.

He just contradicted himself. Its well known now Manny injured himself in the 4th when he had Floyd against the rope not throwing back than suddenly backed off.

                    Floyd cherry picked marquez leftovers.
