What's the problem with the Pbc so far? And how to fix it?

Needs to put together a fight between exciting fighters who want to win with a statement. Most of the fights have been sht as ***, exception of Guerrero-Thurman, and maybe Garcia-Peterson, I say maybe because it was a piece of sht the first half.Comment

Ahh, I get it now.
SO? Floyd just beat the 1st guy to beat Algieiri so it seems right if he fights the 2nd guy that did it.Comment

I don't think the match-making for HBO or the PBC has been very good this year, but I think Haymon probably gets more blame for his match-making than HBO does in part because of what's gone on in the past (like SHO's 2014) and in part because he's the adviser, manager, and basically the promoter, for all the PBC fighters, and he has about $425 million from Waddell & Reed to work with.
Not that HBO doesn't deserve blame, both for some of the fights they have put on, and for some of the fights they've stood in the way of.Last edited by Mitchell Kane; 07-02-2015, 02:00 PM.Comment

Yeah, I agree about the lame a.ss ring entrances. I think PBC actually picks the music for the fighters. For the Andy Lee-Pete Quillen fight, they had Lee coming out to some weak a.ss 70s ****in' disco music. It was like WTF is that? How are the fighter and fans supposed to get pumped up listening to ****in' Andy Lee coming out to the Donna Summer?Biggest problem is production. The entrances are lame, the commentators are too bad except on Spike, and there have been too many errors with sound and video. They have a lot of work there.
Otherwise it's been okay. The fights are good, though they seem to place them in strange locations that don't draw crowds.
That said, let the fighters pick their own musicComment
