It hasn't been just 4 months. This thing has been in the works for well over a year. Guarantee you that if Canelo fought on NBC at night, he'd crush whatever the highest PBC numbers have produced. Same with GGG. Thing is that they just need a B level opponent to do that. Meanwhile none of the top PBC fighters haven't separated themselves from the rest.

I'm not rooting against,I'm thinking they need to.show Thurman more and more. He's the only star outside Floyd and possibly Wilder to carry them.

      Match making.

simple as that. Too many prospects on one card with bums.

And theTop guys need to fight each other, build up time is over. Viewers see right through it.

The thing is, they signed up all the "stars" that HBO and Showtime already had, so they don't really need to build anything. This is part of the reason why a lot of posters are so high on PBC having all the "top" welters, they have all the big names.

I agree 2 established stars on NBC would crush numbers.

Now before the March 7 launch whT boxing events were on air since its been around for over a year.

Big fights cannot happen every week. Its impossible and i seriously think you all overestimate the talent pool in this sport.

            Garcia/peterson.
            Guerrero/thurman
            Broner/porter
            Porter/brook
            Khan/algeri

            Lesser but veteran players
            Thurman/collazo
            Garcia/paulie

            Guerrero building back
            Broner on build back trail
Peterson had good showing but on build back

Porter big win so possibly big fight or showcase to build name after win.

4 months this has or is happening at WW.

They've had a few decent fights, but mostly fights no one really wants to see or just plain bad match ups that make no sense.

This guy is going to help though:

On paper I think their matchmaking is pretty solid:

              Porter-Broner
              Lee-Quillen
              Garcia-Peterson
              Algieri-Khan
              Broner-Molina
              Dirrell-Degale
And there's probably a bunch of others that I haven't mentioned

Problem is, these matches haven't produced the most exciting and memorable fights save for a few

                Do you know him?
It is not personal. I would feel the same way if Arum was running the show and did it the same way, or Oscar or K2 or anyone else.

As for Haymon, no, I do not like the man and I do not trust the man. I do not trust anyone who does not do press conferences and who does no publicity or promotion for his premier series. I do not believe the guy gives a crap about boxing or his fighters or the fans and is only trying to make as many high pursed fights as possible so that he makes as much money as possible. When the money runs out, he goes back to the way it was before but with about an extra $50-75 million in his personal bank account.

The networks have no say in what happens on PBC shows. They have sold the time and as long as Haymon does not violate broadcast regulations, he can put whatever he wants on. He can start showing Sumo Wrestling if he wanted to. No one at the networks will care.

I just think they need better commercials to promote their fights, it makes no sense to promote it non stop on the day of the fights like they usually do. They need to promote it on CBS, NBC and on Spike tv and now ESPN.

Exactly. I don't think matchmaking is the problem. However, maybe they need to introduce more 'action fighters' vs. other 'action fighters.'
