What's the problem with the Pbc so far? And how to fix it?

Lack of stars and lack of build up for events is becoming a problem. It's at the point where they are just happy to fill time slots.

And PBC has also eliminated all of the shows that use to build up new stars and contenders, where will Haymon steal his next crop from?

I like PBC but I don't think the mega tv deal Haymon wants will happen.

I don't see a reason to fix what is not broken. Especially when the changes are so obviously not working. I have yet to read any article praising the changes Haymon has made to the fight broadcasting game but I have seen lots of criticism.

How many shows have they broadcast in those 4 months? Probably more than Showtime had all of last year. How long has this been in the planning stages? Probably a couple of years at least. Boxing is not an unfamiliar sport. Broadcasting fights is not a new concept. It is not like no fight has been on television since the 80s and everything needed to be reconceived.

If Al Haymon was put in charge of baseball, there would be no hotdogs sold, teams would have to choose between a first base or third base coach - not both, and at the 7th inning stretch they would be playing a new 'I Would Like to Thank Al Haymon' song instead of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame'.

Another problem is that they don't have that next.star ticket seller. Let's face it, they haven't been able to groom a star. Thurman has all the tools (ko puncher, charisma, looks) yet he hasn't been homegrown into an attraction.

Thurman should be selling out regionally with die hards the way Crawford has done in Omaha. That shows on telecasts.

PBC has solid fighters, just no real superstars ,which is why they are now showing Floyd more and more. They are trying to have his face side by side with the PBC brand.

Pac is clearly towards the end of his great career HOWEVER TR is grooming their next generation of stars. HBO already has Canelo, GGG to continue on.

PBC has a lot of ambition, but it seems they put their eggs in the AB & Swift baskets and that seems like the bad choice.

I like seeing boxing on so many channels but I just don't think the ratings are there to allow him to sustain the spending and give all of his fighters the airtime to warrant the pay promised. Either he runs out of money or boxers get tired of not getting exposure.

                      Garcia-Peterson?
