What's the problem with the Pbc so far? And how to fix it?

Match making.

They've had a few decent fights, but mostly fights no one really wants to see or just plain bad match ups that make no sense.

Sugar Ray Leonard deepthroats the A-side fighter. Sound cuts out sometimes. That MMA commentator honestly does suck at commentating, he's a D-rate Dana White.

The matchups generally have this "A-side B-side" to it. They're name fighters but people who follow the sport can pretty much tell who's supposed to win the fight.

They should of made Khan vs Thurman instead of Khan/Algerei and Thurman/Collazo. Winner would no doubt be fighting Floyd in September and earn it.

Now Brook is still the most deserving and anything else is just blah. Also if Haymon could of kept Mattysse that would of been a plus.

Have yet to meet anyone disapointed. Boxing,like any sport, is hit or miss in matchups and IMO there have been more hits than misses. On paper "boxing fans" complain but in actuality these fights turn out good. Many cant say that though. Might hurt rep i guess

Needs an 'All of the above' choice as well as a write in option.

The only way to fix it is to tear it down and start over. Have a traditional boxing broadcast and boxing card with ring girls, proper ring entrances, fighters allowed to bring their entourage in the ring, an IN RING announcer, quality commentators, no forced 'I want to thank Al Haymon' from EVERY DAMN FIGHTER AFTER THE FIGHT. Decent match ups with fights being in the proper city for the fight.

the sound cuts out because they cannot permit 'adult' type language to be picked up by the microphones. The fight is on a 5 second time delay like almost every live broadcast so that they can blank the sound when a 'bad' word is said. Yeah, it is poorly done and even a 'beep' over the offending language would be preferable to dead air. Obviously no one on the broadcast team was ever in radio where the absolute worst thing in the world is 'dead air'.

Really a couple fights being slightly better. There have been good fights and some solid action fights. However, there have not been any really great headline fights and none of the fights turned into straight ****ers.

First one is planning and needs to be improved since that one is kind of easy, second one is trickier and requires luck beyond the art of divining good fights.


Really it just needs someone with a vision to run the show, Haymon might have the vision but he doesn't want to be in front and that sort of vision needs to be really put out there and on display. Rather than the kind of captain-less ship approach they kind of have going now.

Thats just dumb to compare thise two
