Is Kell Brook the luckiest boxer atm?

If we look at it this way.

    - Fought 1 live opponent in his entire career who he beat by close margins in a hug fest boring fight.

    - Get's all the UK support + support from all those who hate Khan.

    - Doesn't get called out for fighting bums upon bums and holding the title hostage.

    - Calls out his domestic rival PURELY for monetary reasons and nothing else (You think if Thurman and Khan swapped places Kell would be so adamant about the domestic bust up, NO WAY).

    - Kell has issues with MX gloves, a cowardice move anyone but a Mayweather fan should frown upon.

FOR THE RECORD - Yes I believe Khan is ducking Brook and has made a lot of contradictions along the way but that doesn't take away from this thread's topic.

Conclusion = Whatever Kell does he has his loyal followers and those who hate Khan, get's next to no criticism whilst others who have accomplished more and fought better names get shat on daily as if they have never amounted to anything.

He really is 'Special Kell' in this regard.

Thurmon was one of the first names the special one called out after dicing up porter.

Thurmon hasn't fought anyone in their prime and on the up. The last time Khan did and won was against maidana and that was like 4 years ago.

He's had 2 fights since winning the title 10 months ago and 1 was his mandatory. He tried to fight Khan and wants to fight Mayweather. That's not holding it hostage.

And those 2 fights were within 8 weeks of each other. So he's "held the title hostage for 8 weeks"

Excellent post man TS, I've been saying something along those lines too..

The truth is Khan has only had 4 fights above 140 and those 4 opponents alone overall are better than nearly all of Brook's 35 opponents at 147, except perhaps Shawn Porter (who lets not forget got a draw with Julio Diaz)

Brook only has one decent win on his record - just one. That's not to say he's not a good fighter, but the record speaks for itself.

When he gets the Mayweather fight he will be very lucky considering the money that will go in his pockets.
