Who should Gennady Golovkin fight next?

Ward isn't an option at the moment. He hasn't had the couple of tune ups his trainer said he would need before GGG and his last fight was at LHW.But he is absolutely right. GGG fans will tell you why the Lara and Ward fight can't get made for a week, then suggest Lemuiex next knowing ODH is on record as saying they are going in a different direction.
GGG can't get what he wants-that means no Lemuiex, Cotto, chavez jr., Canelo or Floyd next. Knowing that, what should he do instead:
Find a way to make Lara or ward, garbage MW stay busy or go to 168 and find a tough challenge?
Lara? Many obstacles to that one too. Not least, does Lara really want it? Personally, I don't think he does.
And here's an interesting question - has any fighter, while in the mandatory position to fight for the lineal world title against the biggest name in his division, decided to move up in weight looking for a tough challenge while he waits for his shot?
If anybody has an example of that happening, please tell us about it.Comment

Lara would be the best opponent, I see it as a 50 50 fight, but I don't know if it's possible since there are problems with HBO.Comment

Yeah, and he lost to both of them.
And if by "school" you mean run like a rabbit at a hare coursing meet, lose on points, then claim he'd been robbed, you are probably right.Comment

Paul Williams fight was one of the worst robberies in recent memory. This is where you see GGG fans start to lose credibility. Why the need to denigrate Lara with a blatant lie? Must be concernComment

Why are you talking about "GGG fans"? Just talk about Golovkin...
... Lara is a good fight -- maybe even dangerous for GGG...
... But just tell us how it may be done (with GGG on HBO and Lara signed with PBC)?... Just curious...Comment

Tom Loeffler contacts his "good friend", Al Haymon and makes an offer to come fight on HBO. It's not that hard.Comment
