Natas, please tell me we are not going to make GGG the new "fantasy fight" king!!

GGG should have to prove it just like any fighter. Right?
I'll ask again: is there anyone here that would seriously pick Lara to beat Golovkin?

      Please elaborate.

We are talking about Grzegorz Proksa, correct?
Yes. TBH going on memory I thought Sylvester was champ when he was beaten most impressively by Proksa, but he wasn't. He lost the title via split decision in the previous fight.

Dirk would. Otherwise he's just trolling... .... Oh wait.

Golovkin would KO him and then everyone here would be like "but but we didn't say Lara would win" or play up the fact that Lara is a JMW or whatever.

All I'm sayin is that if I were Lara, I'd be talking trash non-stop about GGG knowin dam well ain't a chance Haymon gonna make that fight happen.

          • Lara or Lemieux would be great fights.

They're way better than anybody GGG has fought so far.

So your reason for Proksa being better than Lara is that he beat Sebastian Sylvester?

We're talking about the same guy who went 1-1 with Kerry Hope?

You have no leg to stand on , ts absolutely absurd to argue Proksa is better than Lara.

Whatever the answer is, it doesn't change the fact that Lara will probably be his best win.

Sylvester was a better win than any of Lara's in regards to the question. Note that it was a MW fight.

How do you figure that one?

Proksa went 1-1 with Kerry Hope, man. Kerry Hope.

He's not even close to Lara's level.

                    • Looking at boxrec, Lara doesn't have a single fight at 160lbs.

Are we just assuming he's good a weight class above? the same guy who goes life and death with Angulo and Vanes?

If Golovkin went to 154 where Lara is strong I could see the argument, but he's completely unproven at 160.
