You conveniently left out the rest of the quote.

"It was tongue in cheek back then... What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him. I'll stand by that and I don't give a ****. But I'll fight anyone. I'll fight Golovkin, of course I would. At Middleweight he's dangerous but you don't know what he's going to be like at super middleweight do you... Having said that, with what I've seen lately, he looks like he can punch at super middle."

and you quoted the interview from before Groves, which was sarcasm like i said.

Gtfo, remember Cotto having to go down 2lbs and how he's still undefeated? This was going on for years, right up till may 2013 lol

I dunno if GGG is great, beating the lineal SWW champ at SWW would bring him much closer to greatness. As would Wards best win Froch at 168 in the UK, but he'll swerve GGG if he can. Cause you see, GGG punches like a mule, too dangerous for battle proven warrior

How's it sarcasm when Froch confirms in a follow-up that it wasn't, dumba$$? He stands by it and doesnt give a ****. Geeze these flo mo GGG haters are just moronic

HUh? WTF? Are you really taking something Floyd used to hype the Cotto fight, knowing everything he said and what he meant, and now trying to apply it here. what a joke you are.

A mw champ beating the JMW champ brings him closer to greatness? ok.

SHame of it is GGG would get a lot of respect for going up and beating ward.

Dude you were around here that whole time, don't bull**** me. It was a flo mo mantra, dropping an extra lb is harder than going up a division.

If it happens at SWW, full credit+, its obvious. The guy is meant to be the best at SWW

Of course he would, hell Ward got to #2 p4p with much less. Too bad Wards big money backers are reluctant to make an offer finally, guess even they don't like losing that much money

But why did you say you'd love to see Floyd vs GGG when you clearly don't? Oh I remember, disingenuous is your middle name

"It was tongue in cheek back then..."

That confirms he was taking the piss in the Groves interview you quoted.

Right and then he reiterated his "tongue in cheek" comment, told you he stands by it and doesn't give a ****. You can't be this dumb?
