So I think it's already established why Jo Jo Dan and Gavin were viable opponents.

I'm lost as to why Brandon Rios is a bad opponent at this time for Brook.

Matchroom have been pretty explicit with their plans for Brook. They'll take Khan now and they have thrown their hat in the ring for Mayweather.

In the meantime they acknowledge they need to build their profile in the US. Rios is no stranger to the PPV networks.
