I've only even seen O'Kane on the Frampton undercard, but he was utter ****e and should be dealt with easily. Either way, we're just seeing another roadblock to GGG unifying the division and moving up.Comment

Johnson/O'Kane is not a forgone conclusion. There's a good chance this fight ends up in Belfast where O'Kane draws some money and UK tv actually cares. That and Gary Shaw is a worthless promoter who can't set anything up for his fighter in the US.
I watched O'Kane vs Stapulionis from a year ago, and O'Kane looked horrible. But I've watched O'Kane vs Ryder (3 years ago), and he looked much better. He's a strong bulldog of a fighter with short arms who swings wide & hard. Had a good amateur career with wins over Groves & Ogogo and is a sparring partner of Groves. Johnson's preference to fight on the inside and lack of power plays into O'Kane's favor. If the fight happens in Belfast, they'll be pulling out the stops for their guy.
